She knew what she was doing
That doesn't equate to her knowing that it was because of her dad. It was only a 1 game suspension, which most likely means that she had absolutely no idea of the reference.

She knew. She actively admitted it in a different post that she was hoping she fouled out.

The other post is the exact same thing. She never admitted to it specifically. Agree to disagree.

Then she's a dick and should be fired. LSU fans are also softer than mayonnaise. Both things can be true.
Definitely...Dawn Staley is total trash. She lies all the time to control the narrative. She accused our AD of being a racist after he complained about our players being spat upon and called the n word. She creates an atmosphere of disrespect.

You mean your AD lied and had to pay her a settlement
Sucks to suck

Ouch. When your AD makes Staley look good you know you’re fricked as an AD. Poor mizzory

That's just going about it the easy way. But I didn't pull you chain.

quote:She was right. The players on our team were black including the coach with 2 exceptions and Mizzou's team was almost all white including the coach. Go look at the team photos from that season. Geez, the assertion that the "N" word was used against Mizzou is laughable at best. There was no proof that anyone spat on a player, so that was BS also. They just couldn't take the loss. It was a bold face lie. End of story.

your ad apologized after a defamation lawsuit was filed....so in this case he was wrong
as for the song...We do play it often, LSU plays it for pregame sometimes...it happens and would have certainly been a non issue if LSU had won
THE ISSUE is that the DJ couldnt help but make an arse of herself and the university on social media, and in that case it appears it was done in a malicious manner. Playing a song by itself is not malicious or bad, heck its been 22 years and dude was an obscure rapper...but the DJ being shitty about it is what makes the this situation angering

This has gotten ridiculous.
Did our DJ know what she was doing when she played the song...yes
Did she do it as a dig at Johnson...yes
Was it shitty for this to be done to Johnson...yes
We apologized and punished the dj but it keeps going so...
Lsu if you don't like it tough shite beat us next time.
Can't stand tapdancing. I'll own up to it as a Gamecock fan and admit that I no longer give a shite because we admitted wrong doing and apologized...it's over

The internet gets very annoying when it blows up relatively minor dustups that are handled.
The DJ played a song that hurt the feelings of one of the players, we must cancel the season now, and Dawn Staley must march through the streets with someone shouting "Shame" over and over again!.

Wonder if Camoflauge put tomatoes in his gumbo?
By the way, his murder is still unsolved. Wonder if it had something to do with the murder he himself was charged with earlier?

To boot, the guy was never in her life either. If we're also being honest, he probably was involved with shady shite to justify to someone else murdering him in the first place. Not like he would've been the poster child for a great dad anyway.
I get it, it's offensive and it was her dad, but she was likely more attached to Santa Claus than the idea of her dad as a child. Oddly enough, both nonexistent.
Shitty move on the DJs part. But let's also not act like she grew up for 20 years with her dad and he just died.
