Appealing won't help the NCAA.

It would go to the Seventh Court of Appeals. The 4 judges on that are all graduates of Texas Tech.

The committee kept an undefeated FSU out of the playoff and justified it by saying they lost their QB. Many college football fans did not like this.

They can now state for the integrity of the game we are not letting this occur. And all college football fans will agree. Even many of the Texas Tech fan base. I know many that think this is a very bad look for Tech.

LSU fans and Lane talk about Ole Miss constantly, you can check any of the boards and any number of topics to see that for yourself.

Why would Lane rather talk so much about Ole Miss v. his own team? That coupled with the fact that he has numerous times already asked LSU fans for patience it's pretty clear he doesn't think next year will go great.

I agree it’s a bad look for Tech. I personally wish he hadn’t won. I want best everyone without him but I love to poke fun at the holier than thou SEC fans. You guys have been dirty forever and now that the rules have changed the outrage is hilarious because you don’t have an advantage.
Oil money is a real thing and it scares ut snd aggy that they have to compete against it. They like to look down their noses at others when they had an advantage but it scares them now to play on an even field.
Will Tech be good - yes they will. How good we shall see. But save your fake holiness for someone else.
ut drove out Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas and aggy from the Big 12. Tell me you like the better than thou ut attitude you see in the SEC.

I have been calling out Pollack, ESPN, etc for going over board on Tech following the rules. It’s pathetic and hypocritical.

But on this one, Tech just needs to take the loss. There is no nuance on this one. This one is black and white.

I don’t think the kid should be playing. But frick the NCAA. Those hypocrites have been picking and choosing where they enforce their own rules for decades so they don’t hurt the blue bloods too bad. Now that some of the “smaller” schools are fighting back in their own best interest, they are crying like bitches.

frick them. Whatever embarrasses and takes more power from the NCAA, I’m all for.

I just checked Tiger Rant and didn't see any Ole Miss threads.

The NCAA could have started collective bargaining discussions years ago where this would be a violation of the agreement and therefore be punishable by them, but they keep throwing their hands up in the air to Congress

Count me in the group that all teams should refuse to play TT until he is kicked off the team or suspended for at least a year.

I know it won’t happen because we live in a “scared” society, but that’s what should happen imo.

When it comes to paying players..I am 100% on board with you. I have no problem with Tech or anyone buying players. It's legal now. If they have someone bankrolling it, go for it.
this is different. Betting on your own team while on the roster? In no universe should this guy be playing at Tech or for any team and we both know if this guy was playing for Alabama or Ohio State and just won this injunction, the uproar would be just as loud, if not louder.

That's the only way out at this point. But schools will continue to drag their feet on this point

Coach O should not be allowed back. Self admitted that he knowingly broke the rules.

Again, that was before the rule change. They aren't enforcing it that way.

Selective outrage is apparent. Again, you guys just like to have everyone else play by the rules so you have an advantage. It scares you to lose that advantage and have to compete straight up.

I am not outraged at all. My school has been paying players since before I was born and so has your school. I couldn't care less about players getting paid.

Yep, there are no rules. Everyone is their own God if they have money.

Even if the judge loses his job for this he doesn't care....because he was likely given "frick YOU" money by Tech boosters to provide this.
