The judge has been retired for a long long time.

Nothing to see here folks.

BB, we are living in a diminishing era, those who operate by a code of ethics, honesty and morality.

We are laughed at. Sad times.

Tempering expectations =/= Fear of another program.

Lane’s a known troll, the majority of posts on the Rant consist of fans trolling other fans.

Should be a good rival game this year and for the next few coming.

Nevertheless, as stated above, we have digressed from the original topic.

You do know that he is a retired judge from Ft Worth who got assigned the case when the first judge (Tech undergrad degree and Tech law degree) recused himself. Judge Curry has zero ties to Tech and will go back home to Ft Wirth now that’s it’s over. He probably could care less about Tech. But you keep telling yourselves that to make you feel better.

Dude

The judge made a horrible ruling. Who knows why but when things don’t make sense, it’s typically money or politics.

That’s why the Texas rangers exist. They operate to catch and punish political corruption.

You guys have been dirty forever and now that the rules have changed the outrage is hilarious because you don’t have an advantage. Oil money is a real thing and it scares ut snd aggy that they have to compete against it. They like to look down their noses at others when they had an advantage but it scares them now to play on an even field.

What does this have to do with gambling on sports?

Good try. Tech wasn’t thinking about ut at all until Sarkisian spouted off about us. We are living in your head.
I think he knows he has a really good team but also has a really hard schedule. He may not make the CFP again this year and Tech has a very good chance again. I think he feels the pressure and is trying to take some of the heat off of himself. He could also be drinking again. Sarkisian is really good coach but may not be quite as good a man.

Sark might have gotten some heat with his comments but with today’s news all the focus will now be solely on Tech. This is going to be tons of negative attention and apparently schools might not play Tech in anything if they let Sorsby play.

One thing to note, the lawsuit was brought by Sorsby not Tech. Tech appealed and lost to the NCAA which they considered kind of a formality. This suit was Sorsby’s doing.

Unless tech does the right thing and removes him from the team, your point means absolutely nothing. You’re basically just admitting that your school is willing to go against the NCAA to play a player they believe was ineligible.

Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark: “The ramifications of today’s ruling are significant and could have broad impacts across college athletics, creating great concern amongst our membership. We are also in touch with Charlie Baker and anticipate the NCAA to appeal the order in the next 24-48 hours."

You have to be joking? You think you’re the only one with oil money? MFer, we had oil money when y’all were still in the borderland conference.

Tech is the epitome of new money, all flash.

Unsurprisingly, NCAA has already filed a notice with the court that they intend to appeal on an accelerated timeline

Maybe Sorsby had a prop bet on Sark mentioning it.

Aggy had first choice of the land set aside for the Texas Land grant schools. They chose grazing land in central Texas and left arid land in west Texas for ut. Bet they were laughing about it thinking how smart they were and how they screwed ut. Turns out that land had lots of oil under it. ut has made billions on that land. Typical aggy thinking they are so smart but proven otherwise.

If you are talking about the PUF fund, yes Texas gets more but A&M gets plenty from it as well. Tech, not so much.

F this guy and f all the athletes taking advantage of the system like this. Same as the kid who left an sec school to go to Ohio state because he felt “mental anxiety” and was given immediate eligibility bc no one wants to touch a if someone is lying abouta mental condition. It's this generations cop out
