Hear me out...

Perhaps this is an opportunity to promote understanding by letting both sides display causes.

Saw an NBA player stand for the anthem recently. When asked why, he pointed to his faith.

So maybe there's a way for some good to come from this.

Because there is nothing that god in the Bible loves more than worship of false idols.

Yeaa I saw that too and agreed with everything he said. But unfortunately when it comes to politics, religion or race. It always will bring the ugly side out of people.

What does faith have to do with protesting on what you feel is wrong?

That you kneel before none other than God.

Or, or, they all could shut up while in uniform. Endorse candidates, sound ignorant, and support domestic terrorist on their own time and dime as to not alienate the fans.

But NBA/MLB/NFL/NASCAR are dead to me and if NCAA wants to commit suicide so be it. I’ll watch 8 Nation rugby, go fishing, read more.

You don’t have to hate them, at the end of the day it’s just a patch on a jersey. It really doesn’t matter. And don’t even start w the slippery slope nonsense.

So, there is one player in the NBA that will stand for the national anthem?

Nonsense? You must not be paying attention over the past 20 years.

Must be a buncha Pagans over there in the UK

Could've sworn that every time throughout History when someone has been Knighted for Meritorious Service to the Kingdom, that they kneel when they are Knighted

This NBA player with his Religious excuse just wants attention

I'm curious, if Jesus Christ were alive today would he kneel to bring attention to Police brutality and Social Injustices in America in recent History?

What?

I’m pretty sure the reason he stood is because he only kneels for G-d.

Which part of the last 20 years were so upsetting and ruined your life?

Tell me about the dramatic impact this has had on your day to day. Can you bring yourself to describe your struggle in words? Do you have the courage?

He wasn't exactly asked why, in the question I heard. This is what he was asked:

"You didn't kneel for the anthem, and you didn't wear a black lives matter shirt. Do you even believe that black lives matter?"

Yes - you presumptuous a-hole - the black guy who you're talking to doesn't believe that black lives matter.

He should have answered like this: "Suppose I were to ask you, 'do you even believe that rape is bad?' That would be a pretty shitty question, right? Merely that I don't like the politics associated with these acts is no reason to suppose that I don't think black lives matter. That you would even question that is part of the problem."

Maybe he subconsciously recognizes that marxism is wrong, and correctly sees the identity politics of the left is marxist, and so refuses to kneel.

Considering the treatment of Christians at the turn of the millennium during and right after Christ’s time on Earth was 10x more brutal than the dozen or so instances of police brutality over the last few years, it seems unlikely not to mention the historical treatment of Jews. You love to portray yourself as this intellectual giant which is comical

Other than Trumpf-tards and the idiot MAGA Hat wearing crowd, no one seriously believes that BLM supports marxism in any way

Taking down Statues that never should've been erected in the first place isn't erasing History, just balancing the "racism ledger" in America

That whole marxism BS is to deflect from addressing some real issues that are simmering just beneath the surface of normal, everyday American Life

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said in a newly surfaced video from 2015 that she and her fellow organizers are “trained Marxists” – making clear their movement’s ideological foundation, according to a report.

quote:

“The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.
“We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,” Cullors added in the interview with Jared Ball of The Real News Network.

Another triggered little snowflake that gets offended at small patches with slogans.
I wonder how some of you crybabies would react if you actually wandered out of your redneck towns every now and then and interacted with people in the rest of America.

PJ go to the BLM website and read it. They openly state their beliefs, one of which is the destruction of the nuclear family.

As far as I am concerned there are two different BLM groups. The peaceful protest one, and then the outright Marxist one that wants to destroy the country.
