If you think NYers are going to elect a rich ***hole from Boston I don’t think you know anything about NY (or Boston for that matter).
Sure, if you’re a child.

Qatar forcing the Israeli soccer team to denounce their religion/state (to play in the 22 WC presumably?) is in no way the same thing as Iran & Egypt playing a soccer game in Seattle w some Americans waving rainbow flags in the stands.

Calling you woefully out of touch is generous.
Me neither. I’m sure there will be some folks posting photos on twitter but I doubt you see little to anything on the broadcast.

I hate to use the term nothing burger because it’s obnoxious and overused, but that’s exactly what this whole non story is.
They’re not doing anything, the fans in the stands are. Do you think the women in the stands should have to cover their hair (Iran law)? Your Qatar analogy is ridiculous on its face.

Maybe just don’t watch when they kick off here in a few minutes. Skip the heartache. The good news is everyone is going to be fine, even you (eventually).
Doesn’t matter, unlike places like Qatar, people have rights in this country and nobody in Seattle is doing anything illegal or even against FIFA policies. The anti lgbtq crowd isn’t entitled to anything, sorry.

But again, you’re arguing about a nonexistent hypothetical. They were never gonna sit out, it was total jibberish from the get go.

Does Kiffin come in now and offer him tree fiddy?

Can’t imagine he’s planning on sitting out all of 26. Maybe he’d take a lowball at this point (unless he’s a head case).
Cool man.

Sorry you got your hopes up over some clickbait bulls***.

It’s Friday night, go get some air, you’ll be alright!
I mean there’s now a community on the tweet from the OP.

It’s total bullshite, they’re playing, this entire threat is moot and stupid.

Also this is all moot, Egypt need a win or draw to win the group tonight.

They’ve got a legit chance w their aging superstar (Salah) to advance to 16 or 8.

It’s really unlikely they’re jeopardizing that.
Welp, tough s***.

FIFA set the precedent, Seattle gonna Seattle.

Iran & Egypt wanna cry, take their ball and go home, that’s their own damn problem.
This is so funny to me.

Iran & Egypt need to suck it up and just ignore the flags or whatever they’re gonna do. I respect Qatar for saying others need to adapt to them in 2022, which is exactly what everyone did.

So same goes for Egypt & Iran. Adapt to the host country and STFU.
To be fair, the poliboard always likes Rasmussen.

They just haven't figured out why yet.
Dude you’re posting totally fake Fetterman quotes, you’re very easily duped.

But also, can we just see the video? Why is that a problem?
Did Fetterman actually say those quotes? I can’t find them and chatGPT thinks they’re made up.

I know we’re in the post truth era but does anyone care about actual evidence at all?
The video in the OP is funny because it confirms:

1) there are cameras monitoring the reflecting pool.

2) nobody entered the pool and made a “350 ft cut” or dumped tons of stuff of into it.

If there was any actual video of either this admin would be posting it everywhere, and everybody knows it…
The problem is you've let your dear leader convince you the two are mutually exclusive.

You can support both.

Trump will use this Housing Bill to set an example,

Maybe he should choose a bill that's not going to get passed with a supermajority anyway. Might make for a better example....
If you don't think Dems want to stop Trump from ever getting anymore of his agenda written into law, I really don't think you're paying nearly as much attention as you think you are.

Dems know they're not getting any of their policies across the finish line with minority control (w RARE exceptions like this housing bill that's a win for everyone) the next best thing is neutering the MAGA agenda.

If Trump really wants to volunteer to do it to himself, you think Dems are gonna stop him!?!?
quote:

I would threaten to take it a step further and veto every bill that came across my desk

1) Dems would gladly accept these terms.

2) would likely crush midterm chances, which would make point #1 moot becuase they'd simply kill all of his policy themselves.

Given the supermajority they'd override Trumps veto. It's not much of a threat.

Rs are starting to worry about their skin post midterms, this bill is an obvious win for everyone who cares about rising costs (which is why it got so much support from both sides).

At it's core, it's essentially making it easier to build more homes, which this country needs. There's no reason to stand against this bill (other than blind loyatly to Trump). Read it yourself if you don't believe me.
