USCe. Florida is starting to scare me though.

FLA. Unfortunately I see them winning their games vs the East. Probably losing to us as one of their only losses.

Florida has played no one. The division is pretty weak though. South Carolina/Florida winner will win. The winner will get destroyed in the SECCG though.

Yes I watched them Saturday. They are fast. I am glad we have them in Tiger stadium.

Florida's defense looks pretty solid. I still think that if South Carolina can put it all together and be consistent, they'll win the East.

I don't think Florida's gonna lose an East game. And they may catch Bama or LSU and upset one of them. Nobody on here mentioned Florida as a we might even possibly lose. I know it's at home, but they have great athletes and now a great(and more motivated) coaching staff. They scare me more than anybody save Bama remaining on our schedule.

I still have SC winning it. A spurrier lead team always gets up for Florida, I think his golf game suffers only that week of the year.

The Florida game really worries me since Bama has them at the Swamp this year.

I don't think LSU will lose this one, although it might come down to the wire.

USCe isn't nearly the team I thought they'd be though it's apparent that Lattimore is the best back in the conference and one of the best in the country.

Florida is the surprise team of the year for sure. Under Muschamp and Weis, I figured they'd be good again, just didn't think so soon.

That said, I still think USCe over UF is gonna come out of the East for 2 reasons. First of all, their game is actually in Columbia this year so they'll have home field advantage which can never be undervalued in the SEC. Secondly, Florida has to play both LSU AND Alabama. USCe plays neither. Florida could beat all the East teams and still not go to Atlanta by losing to Bama & LSU, while USCe only has the 1 SEC loss. Arky could throw a wrench in that though

I would be almost willing to put money down on Florida winning their division now.

Florida is better than expected. I still think they're a finesse team, but they have plenty of talent and I put that one back in our toughest games column, right after Bama.

Who's to say that USCe finishes the season with only one SEC loss? The way they've had to eke out wins, it hardly seems like a sure thing. They have Arky in Columbia too don't they? Their schedule is nice and cushy, but imploding in games they should win has been the USCe special for years.

Florida. Decent offense and a good defense will beat South Carolina.

Florida.

Vandy is the Pittsburgh Pirates of the SEC. You get excited about them early in the season, and then someone smacks them in the nose with a newspaper and remind them that they're Vandy.

It's out of Florida and South Carolina.

Yeah..... I know, something you didn't know, right?

Thing about Fl is all the freaking penalties. 16 yesterday, 7 for PI alone. Their defense is riddled with guys that can't make a play without making a penalty. Which is fine with me.

Take away Demps and Rainey and they don't have much of an offense. Brantley is still scared to throw downfield.

South Carolina has it's own problems. They get down to Georgia only to come back big. Then have to go to overtime to beat Navy? And who knows about Garcia.

USCe. They might lose to UF, but their schedule in the WEST is much easier. I believe they play MSU and Arky, while UF has to face both LSU and BAMA. Both face Auburn, but USCe gets them at home.

In the end, I think UF will be the better team, but will go 6-2, while USCe is 7-1.
