I hadn’t been to a game in some time. Other than winning the game, it wasn’t the best experience. The DJ music was obnoxious and overly loud. Felt like listening to a booming, rattling car next to you at the red light that you can’t wait to get away from. And playing that between every play and in timeouts was ridiculous. Really minimizes our band, the best in college football. Pretty sure there were plays that started while the DJ was still playing the music. Completely changes the atmosphere and fans aren’t even able to interact with team while that music is blaring as the plays start. Don’t know how the coaches and players could even communicate. I stayed until the end and enjoyed the win but they need to get this fixed, This is not the standard I remember of the best atmosphere in college football.

It was obnoxious. Incredibly loud and sometimes the teams had to even wait to start the play because they wouldn’t cut the music. Why do they even do this crap between plays? Minimizes our awesome band too.

That was not a good look. Also thought the music was crazy loud between snaps and in timeouts. Don’t know how the coaches and players can communicate.

Overreaction. You may not like Lane and I get it why many don’t. But let’s not pretend that other coaches are holier than thou. There’s a lot of talk about Kirby Smart being just as big of an a-hole as any other coach out there. Have you heard the tapes of his halftime locker room talks? He’s won two national championships at Georgia. Let’s not get it twisted.

Maybe not but expecting to be in the conversation for an immediate national championship type run is magical thinking based on where Kelly left us and bringing in a large portal class in a season with a new head coach. Look at Oregon, look at Texas A&M today, Southern California struggled against Rutgers. The game has changed. Lane will figure it out given a little time.

Have to give him a little time. Expecting miracles the first season is unreasonable. We are just getting started. Look at what happened to Texas A&M today with multiple seasons under their coach’s belt. Kiffin will get it figured out.

Interesting info. Thank you. I wonder if the team stays in Memphis. Gotta be some high rise hotels there that could mitigate some of the disruptions their fans might cause.

Players throughout the NCAA should file a class action lawsuit against the NCAA and every conference. The players have won before in a way that has completely changed college athletics. And now the question of what constitutes a professional is an added wrinkle as the NCAA and conferences have allowed athletes from professional European leagues to compete as amateurs in college in the US. Comprehensively, the league and conferences appear to be on shaky ground. There’s change a ‘coming once again and hopefully the inept NCAA and SEC collusion will be put on full display.

The Sugar Bowl is a top 2 bowl in the country along with the Rose Bowl. Ending its relationship with the SEC doesn’t end its relationship with the playoff and national prestige. The SEC would likely try to make the Peach Bowl its premier bowl, but let’s face it, having lived in Atlanta and attended peach bowls, they are a pale imitation of the Sugar Bowl in many ways. Their city has neither the culture, the atmosphere or the inclusive experience of what New Orleans has to offer the teams and for fan bases selected to participate. When you go to Atlanta for the SEC championship, it’s incredibly boring. People milling around with literally little to do save the Dr. Pepper thingy at the football complex and a short museum tour of the boring college hall of fame. Lame place. Typical of Atlanta.

It’ll be interesting to see if any of this comes to fruition. Isn’t it Landry who has the better relationship with Trump? Isn’t she a Trump appointee? Could be twists and turns. Guess we are about to find out.

I’m interested to see why they’ve added our attorney general to the suit They’ve just empowered our entire state government to go after them and then Kennedy chiming in today from a federal level. Going to get interesting.

I don’t see a problem with a first year player who gets cut/waived returning to college for a final year of eligibility. Should they really be considered a pro when they don’t actually make a team? Maybe there needs to be a revision as to what constitutes a pro player.

There’s also a similar lawsuit and ruling in Texas. The conference will have its hands full. Disappointing that the schools are also giving Sankey more power. I don't want another Roger Goodell.

Am On3 guy said last night on a show with Garland Gillen that Clemson had 9 players drafted this year and their recruiting has slipped a good bit over the last few seasons. He believes their talent level is not nearly as good as it was when they were winning championships, except for the wide receivers this year.

It’ll go on forever. Tennessee still talking about Kiffin since he bolted in January of 2010. Hell, their coach even talked about it at SEC media days last week.
