My confidence/arrogance regarding the offense took a step back tonight

The sky is falling the sky is falling we only won by 14 points and the game was never really in doubt but hey our offense sucks our defense sucks and we cant beat Georgia. The sky is falling the sky is falling. :spank: :spank: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:

Actually there is lots to disagree with:

quote:

I think the point Dan was making, more tan anything else is that a contract is a contract. Why should a coach sign a contract for 7 years and then "entertain" an offer to get a raise?

This is standard in the coaching profession it happens all the time Les is not the first to do this and wont be the last.

quote:

What he is saying is that the AD's need to hold these coaches feet to the fire. No renegotiations and no interference from other schools...period. If your coach is under contract, then you can take legal action against anyone who tries to get them to leave before the contract is up. Remove payout amounts from contracts. None.

There is only so much the AD's can do if they want a big time coach the industry standrd practices win out

quote:

Miles seven year contract gives lots of security to Miles and nothing to LSU. Dan's point also is that in a few years, Miles will do it again....it worked twice before...

He stated over and over again that Miles played LSU...big time!

Next time it happens, Alleva should say ...you are fired...

If Alleva wants to lose his job for not obtaining a winning coach I agree fire a winning coach and see how long you get to keep your job.

quote:

DP stated over and over that LSU was a dream job and lots of coaches would love to have miles gig.

This is ture but how many of them can duplicate the result.

Yeah, IF THAT was what happened. What happened was Miles used Arky as leverage against LSU. Reality isn't that tough. This is how the game works. Blame Miles OR blame the system.

Ok so what he leveraged the system but who wouldn't if they could or knew how. I have seen many of people use one company against another to get a raise or to get a promotion or whatever they were after. This doesn't just happen in football it happens in business every day. :geauxtigers:

There is not a sole on this board that can say if a friend called you up to discuss a job that would make you the highest paid person in your proffession you would not take the call listen and then help him find the right person if you decided not to take the job yourself. Dan Patrick is an idiot looking for ratings. :geauxtigers:
you people are idiots, You guys act like good coaches are a dime a dozen, look around there aren't that many great coaches out there. Do you idiots not remember Dinardo and Hallman? It is not easy to build and maintain a program but it wont take but a year or two to dismantle a program. You don't want a winning coach to leave your program. I don't believe Less is going to leave but you guys need to wake up and realize we have one of the best at LSU and we need to keep him.

:geauxtigers:
All of it.
If I have access. Starting to think I wont have access. :wah: :geauxtigers:
They Start treads like this one.
:booboo: :geauxtigers:

They honestly believe Washington has a shot.

Would they be real fans of thier team if they did not belive this? But when the game is over they will know the truth. :geauxtigers:
quote:

Call me a “negatiger,” but I thought the Tigers looked disinterested and removed from the start of that North Texas game.

How pumped up do you really have to be to play North Texas, alas a glorified scrimmage?

:spank: :geauxtigers:
They be tired of hearing about the SEC :rolleyes:
Herb Vincent's reply was well thought out and very well written. Too many times we as fans want to know all the details about a player and his circumstances when quite frankly its none of our business. The media should take note to Herb's reply, but they won't and I bet some will say Herb over steped and the media has the right to know everything which they do not.

:geauxtigers:

Over the last twelve months:

(1) Shady's incident, resulting in de facto suspension of starting QB ;

(2) Shepard suspended by the NCAA;

(3) Ware/TM/Simon suspended for drug use;

(4) TM kicked off the team.

fricking annoying bullsh*t. Who's responsible if not the head coach?

Sorry but anyone blaming the coach for poor decisions made by players is not being reasonable. It's called self control and either you have it or you dont. in all the cases you sight players made horrid decisions which came back to bite them and the team. As coach just as a parent you cant control your kids actions every moment of every day. Yes its a big loss but no the season is far from over. CLM and JA did what they had to do in this instance. :geauxtigers:

so Notre Dame is automatically left out every year then

Wait if this is ture I may like this idea after all.

quote:

You would have ended up with a game like 10-2 Wisconsin vs 10-2 Oklahoma in the BCS game championship game

Nope the big 12 does not have a title game right now so they would be out as well.
Awesome video, should be updated for this year and get little nicky out of it. :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:
