Jayden was awesome but I've never seen anyone before or since Mathieu play like he did.

It seemed like he was everywhere.

Even before he got the number 7. When he was wearing 14. It was just instinctual. "See ball, take ball."

Berry wasn’t held out of this game to protect him from injury. He was kept out after that fumble.

Exactly.
He's arguable the current best running back. Wilson should've used him more. Injuries can happen during any game.

The general public likes LSU (I wear my LSU gear up here in VB, VA and CONSTANTLY get geaux tigers)

Same here in Georgia.

The hire made some kind of sense on paper but it flat out didn’t work.

This right here.

"He has a bright future here"

So why didn't he play more?

What does that even mean? “On paper it was a good hire”.

He had a good resume' as a HC when he was hired. I wasn't thrilled but I was like "Ok, well we should be ok. I'll give him a chance."

I didn't see it as a home run but I also didn't see it as a terrible hire either.

In hindsight, what was terrible was the contract. But that's in the rear view mirror now so I'm looking forward to next season.

Yet the fanbase said it was a homerun hire

Eh-not exactly.

I think most fans said "Hmmm, ok I wasn't expecting that but he has done well in the past. I guess I'll give him a chance."

At least that's how it was for me. After Jayden left, Kelly checked out. Win or lose, he knew he'd draw a substantial paycheck.

Glad it's over with.
Same here. I had no idea things had run off the rails so bad.

Lol at you defending this awful defense.

 at you sidestepping the question.

Scared to answer it?
quote:

Offense just had its best game of the year by far!

Ok, I'll give you that. With a mediocre QB (no disrespect to MVB) and an interim HC and OC.

Still waiting for you to answer my question about the game you brought up.
quote:

How did the offense do today?

I didn't ask about today. You asked if the starters were on the field during the A&M game. I answered.

I asked you a question about the same game. Care to answer it?

quote:

Should get a Tesla

How witty.

It's a fact. If the offense can't do its part, the defense will get exhausted because it's out on the field way more than it should be.
quote:

Did we have our starters against A&M?

Yes we did.

How did the LSU offense do in that game?
quote:

Baker sucks

When his defense is out there for 90% of the game because the offense can't do their job (because the OL is bad and the OC is calling terrible plays which results in multiple three and outs) the defense will eventually run out of gas.

All of it?

It's not just directed at one individual. A poor OL, an overrated HC, an OC that was terrible, Nuss being injured (I'm still not convinced how severe it was but he wasn't like he was last year)

In any event, all of that is in the rear view mirror now so I'm looking forward to next season.

The score on the tv and the score in this thread are different. I'm assuming the one on the tv is the correct one?
