So this leaves the current SEC coaches at 2-30 v. Saban, w/ 27 being double digit losses

Just heard this on SiriusXM radio.

I can recall the 2 wins, '12 v. Sumlin and '13 v. Malzahn.

Not sure about the validity of the 27 being double digits.

Regardless, sounds like some of your teams need to get their acts together.

Why are you counting Saban's wins from 2007? Those had to be vacated

Name a current SEC coach that was coaching in 2007 other than Saban

Serious question: how dumb are you in real life? Like just kind of absent minded dumb? Or more like profound, least intelligent person in your neighborhood kind of dumb?

Really good coach vs terrible teams = results expected.

The SEC has been down for the last 5 years.

We just don't want to admit it.

We are approaching FSU and the early ACC levels of play.

Pretty much, yeah.

It's very similar to Bama under Bryant going into the 1980 season. Vince Dooley was the only active SEC HC at that time who had beaten him. Except of course that outside of Bama the SEC was thoroughly mediocre for the entire decade of the 70s, outside of AU and UTee in 71-72 and UGa in 76.

Does this include his tenure at LSU? Maybe it's not the team so much as the coach...

Some of you like to forget he was pretty good at schools other than Bama too.

And right on cue, another aubie who surpasses the looniness of the previous aubie record holder...

Imagine every single SEC team was crap for a full 10 years, and that is the only reason Coach Bryant won. That is the new record holder for off the wall excuses... 10 solid years... not one good SEC team... holy shite!!! WTF?

I'm an LSU fan and I must say that fricking impressive. It's doesn't get much more dominant than that.

I remember when LSU hired Saban as a middling Big 10 coach and then made him a superstar. Alabama is standing on the shoulder of giants.
