Not defending him, but I’ve always had the impression that he’s just lying low and assessing how all of this shakes out. First with having a 16 team league and second with the new CFP. We could’ve given him a lot more ammunition if we’d won more of the bowl games. I do think Silve was a better commish but I can’t blame Sankey for taking a measured approach while this shakes out.

Between the TV deal, the deterioration of conference officiating, and his silence with the format of the playoff, it’s a no-brainer that the guy should be fired. Sankey is a terrible commissioner.
