See LSU has invested in other programs and had success nationally in other sports. It allows our fans to stay close to LSU and support all sports year around. Alabama on the other hand has nothing but football and the running of the gumps. Will Wade already made the next mediocre gump Nate Oats his bitch. What do you hicks do in the offseason? Sorry LSU took away your opportunity to see the trophy at Wal Mart this year.

Yep feels good to be always ranked high in football, basketball, and baseball.

Fournette never even made it to New York. Talk about embarrassing.

That is 100 percent Les's fault. If he was on a team with a capable offense he might have won or been a finalist.

Congrats on hiring the right coach. Don’t be too quick to forget the Johnny Jones years

LSU has losing records against Alabama in Football, Basketball and Baseball.

It's unlikely that it changes in our lifetime.

Thank goodness. You'd really be angry then.

In my lifetime LSU has played for Eleven National Championships in football and baseball and won nine of them. And of course three Final Four runs in there as well that were pretty satisfying. It’s good to have Shaquille O’Neals and Alex Bergman too. I can’t imagine only having a rooting interest in my team for five months each year.

I'm shocked Bama wasn't able to sustain their baseball success.
Wells really had it rolling there in the late 90's, early 00's.
Not sure how it went south so quick and why they haven't been able to get it back.
They were a little behind facility wise but they should have been able to be relevant in that sport.
Hoover was electric when they were good.

Our best sport is mind fricking LSU fans into some weird, psychotic Bama obsession. See how good we are!

It's remarkable how few schools are top notch at both bball and football. I've always wondered why. Baseball I don't include because its not a national sport the way the other 2 are. Especially when you are talking about a school that is not just competitive in one sport (say top 25) but actually winning or nearly winning. (top5) There's practically no overlap in bluebloods for the two sports.

1. As an LSU fan I can say it's posts like this that make other fan bases call us insecure.

2. I wouldn't say that fans support other programs...Have you watched a basketball game this year? The team is undefeated in the SEC, and the crowd support at a home game is pathetic.

Will Wade went 0-2 in year 1 against Avery Johnson, so, I think I will give it more than 1 game
