What a cesspool, teams can't seem to leave that state fast enough.
Not quite. They'd all be happy staying but Missouri residents are saying no more taxes and free lunches. If they want to be in MO, they need to fund it themselves. Are you really going to try and say that is a bad thing?

“Fan loyalty” is such a load of horse doodoo.
These billionaires don’t care about the communities they rape or the fans.
St. Louis built a stadium that opened in 1995. Less than 20 years later, Kroenke was already harping about a new one. Even when the city and state offered to build a new one, he moved the team.

First off, the NFL is a greedy cesspool. They’ll follow the money any day over rewarding fan loyalty. The Rams moving to LA was for pure greed. STL is & was a great NFL market. LA is just bigger & more lucrative. Cardinals left STL because they wanted a free stadium. STL said no & they moved to Sun Devil stadium waiting years for a new venue after being promised one right away. Again, pure greed. The Chiefs will 20 min across the border for the same reason, pure greed. KS is dumb enough to subsidize over a billion in star bonds. The taxpayers will foot that bill. Know your facts before you come on here spewing uneducated BS.

While I agree with you on something (one thing) a mutual hatred of the Chiefs, I can't agree the Kansas side is better. It is a few cookie cutter burbs & wasteland.

If so, I'd tell them good riddance.
Of course.
Another billionaire wanting tax payers to pay for his new venue.
kansas is just stupid and desperate enough to say yes.

The Rams just went home. They should have never left LA in the first place.
Still hate it that the football Cards left. Cardinal teams belong in StL.
And when they did move to Phoenix they should have become the Roadrunners.

Yes. They wanted taxpayers to pay for upgrades that they'll make millions off of and not have to pay the taxpayers back.

I have no doubt Porker is a raging, tax and spend, free lunch liberal so of course he would love it.

Missouri joined the SEC and is doing its best to make Mizzou the State's only show in town to keep tradition with (most) SEC states.
The SEC schools that share the state with professional teams have better athletic programs than Missouri.

“Mer, merrrrrrr, we didn’t want the Chiefs anyway!”
Every NFL stadium but 3 has taxpayer funds. New stadiums are just a different form of private development which often receives at least some government subsidy since the local government believes that it will ultimately be beneficial to the community which it likely will.

You guys are whining about a billionaire like the left does.

Had nothing to do with the actual city, I was comparing markets. Surely that went through your head, since that’s what this is about, money.

Two biggest cities "in" Mo. are basically border towns

frick the NFL

Every study done has shown stadium taxes are never recovered. Nothing but a black hole papered over with political prestige. frick 'em.
I don't begrudge billionaires their money. I begrudge them my money. If kansas is stupid enough to subsidize the Hunts with state funds, well that's kansas's problem, isn't it.
