Funny how most of the bitching is being done by people who live in entirely different states than LA, where the hurricane is seriously affecting millions of lives as we speak.

I actually have been in worse tornados in MS than anything this hurricane has done.

Tell that to folks that now have their homes underwater. I'm sure a cajun or two would love to have that conversation with you.

Oh, Awesome! Another idiot rears his head!!

Tell me which tornado you were in that caused 1.5 billion dollars in damage. I will hang-up and listen.

Somehow I doubt your statement as the decision also involved the City of Shreveport.

I believe that if LSU was hell bent on playing that game, it would have been played as scheduled. However, both schools were in agreement that it wasn't a good idea. A&M fans are blaming everyone but their own school for this, when in reality, 1 of 2 things is happening here:

1) La Tech and the "city of Shreveport" want the game to be postponed, and the big bad SEC West school is powerless to stop them

or

2) A&M is also in agreement that the game should be postponed. In this case, I wish all these aggies would stop bitching here and email their school instead.

Tornadoes and hurricanes are both bad in their own ways.

A tornado you may not have much warning beforehand, a hurricane we know the general part of the country that may get hit.

Tornado, the devastation is almost immediate, less than 1 minute and then you can start putting your life back together. A hurricane, the devasation can last for days, especially if your house is submerged, before you can start putting your life back together.

Both can totally wreck your life financially and emotionally, but its tough to compare them.

For the few whiny Ags, just think back to years past when your first couple (sometimes 3 or 4) of games weren't televised and bow to the SEC that set you free!

man some of these ags make me wish they went to SPort and got caught up in the Hurricane, puttin a bad rap on the rest of us. What happend happened. IF we were to play that game first we would of had Florida in the back of our minds anyways, and now...this Florida game just got even bigger than it already was.

Seriously, how is the weather? I thought it was a crap decision, but it DOES guarantee a win against LA Directional later in the season. Sucks we have to wait another week, though.

I always laugh when I hear some yahoo that doesn't know anything about hurricanes say this. They always blink when you tell them that a hurricane typically INCLUDES dozens or even hundreds of tornadoes, then pretend they knew it, even though you know they didn't.

Trust me, there's nothing worse than going through basically three months' worth of Hurricane Katrina, which is what a Korean Monsoon season (Mid June-early September) is, then following that up with blizzard season from December - February.

You could have been in combat! Were you in Iraq '03-'04. How about Viet Nam '66-'70?

Our fans needs to stop bleeding everywhere about this. I was pissed at the time but it's not that big of a deal

Couldn't agree more, Shane. I live in College Station (and work at TAMU), and I've encountered no one whining about this. Sure, people wish we were playing tonight, but everyone understands why we're not. It's certainly not LA Tech's fault.

The "bleeding" seems to be limited to a handful of folks on the Interweb.

OIF: April 2003 - March 2004
OIF: January 2006 - December 2006
OND: January 2011 - November 2011

I refuse to wear any combat patches on my right shoulder other than my 4ID patch from OIF 1 because I don't consider the other two deployments real combat, nor did I put myself in for a CAB for what happened downrange after the CAB was introduced in 2005.

Now go sit in the corner.

Agreed. I'm just annoyed I have to wait another week plus to see A&M play while everyone else gets to kick off their season. Kind of like being grounded as a kid but being able to see your friends playing outside in the yard

Can't argue the decision, though--would have been foolish to still try and have the game.

You Aggies got a blessing, Tech spared you all the embarassment of the beat down.

I have a feeling you would have blamed the 0-2 start on the rain...yall tend to whine alot.
