So, Is Landon Collins going to be a starter this year ?

Serious question for Bama fan... I dont see much info on this living in Texas.

Unless someone just blows the coaches away and Landon has completely flopped with learning the defense all signs point to him taking over for Lester this coming season.

It sure won't be Sunseri or Perry. Collins should start beside Clinton-Dix.

He's a solid player. I don't recall anyone claiming he'd be an All American.

yeah, we did.

I admit to thinking that he would be better than he was last year.

That's not to say that he wasn't solid. He was. But he struggled in coverage quite a few times.

It will be a battle between him and 27 YO Jai Miller (who came in ripped and has been in the weight room and trying to get his fball knowledge back, he was a MLB signee) so it'll be between both those guys

I'm still a believer in Vinnie and think he will see considerable playing time the rest of his career at Bama.

Special teams at least.

Also, he was probably Alabama's best blitzer in the secondary. He should still have a role in certain packages.
