So is Gary Danielson an Auburn or Alabama fan?

Every single CBS game I hear it from both sides. Granted, its probably because I live in Alabama. I don't know how to upload screenshots but I took one from twitter during the iron bowl.

I know he's whiny sometimes but for the most part he seems pretty fair to me during his games.

Well, Auburn had just won the Iron Bowl, knocked off the #1 team, gave themselves a direct path into the playoffs, and were rushing the field.

Gary spent his time talking about Alabama and how they can still make it in.

So...I can tell you a team he is not a fan of.

I think he is kind of like Finebaum, neither in reality, but he is enamored with Bama and Saban currently

Did you just link us to your personal twitter with your name and where you are from?

ETA: you should just take this down.

He's a Purdue fan and a good color analyst.

Neither. He goes into a game with expectations and talking points for those expectations. He shoe horns his talking points in whether the game plays out to his expectations or not.

I'm not sure who he is a fan of.

I can promise you it isn't Auburn though.

He is a dispassionate analyst. Silly question.

No way to watch this year's Iron Bowl and not see/hear the bias. He might not be a bama fan, but it was pretty obvious that he was there to cover bama and their story. Auburn was just the opponent.

Man - wasn't Minkah Fitzpatrick a good football player?

And did you see Levi Wallace chase down the Auburn player - from all the way across the field?!?! - and rip the ball out of his hands? I mean, ignore the fact that Wallace was a step behind him, never touched the ball, and the Auburn receiver dropped it.

This. He latches on to the programs he's enamored with. It's Bama now, but a decade ago it was Florida.

That play tickled me.

Probably just doing his best to pimp his conference and try to get two teams in. People get way too upset about this stuff.
