All of Bama's players and coaches are tested daily. Other people in the football building are regularly but not daily. They will all be tested today.

Saban has been in the same room with the team for limited amounts of time (probably spending a lot more team time than usual outside right now), but that, standing alone, is not necessarily close contact. Contrast that with players, who, invariably have roommates that they live with for much of the day.

Because Bama and Florida always get what they want from the SEC office. Bama wants to play and Florida is scared shitless of LSU

We won't know for sure whether the game will be played until after the results from friday testing are known.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for a great game. Go Dawgs.

You can't play with less than 50 players per the SEC rules. You have to have 53 scholarship players, 7 of those have to be Olineman and 2 of those have to be QB's. So it's not that they DIDN'T want to play, it's that they COULDN'T play due to the SEC COVID protocol.

Teams that don't meet the 53-player threshold still have the option to play the game. Otherwise, the game would be rescheduled or declared a no contest, pending approval by SEC commissioner Greg Sankey.

I would assume they have tested all the players who have had contact with Saban and all were negative.

That isn't how the SEC contact tracing works. If you were in "contact" by however it is defined, you have to sit out. Testing does not matter. So if you are in "contact" and test negative you are still quarantining with the positive person.

Cause Bama was smart and let all their players get it over the summer, so they know none will get it. AD and Saban just forgot to get it themselves

Again, we have no idea how many players have it. Since there is an incubation period it’s possible that 30 Bama players could have it.

Well, I mean, it's possible. It's certain that a bunch of Gators have it.

They don't go by "it's possible." I mean it's possible every college football player has it.

pretty sure this is the OP's concern...how can they not be impacted due to contact tracing?

The contract tracing stuff is like you have to be near them for 15 minutes and within 6 feet of them during that time.

I don't know the exact thing, but it's something weird like that.

Wow...that is creative.

I was actually giving the Bama’s a backhanded compliment.

Guess you missed it.

And I got it wrong....

Somebody already said florida is UForfiet

Bama testing everyone today. Standby.

Bama tests everyone everyday. 80% of the players have already had covid-19 (in the spring or summer), so it's highly unlikey they'll get it again this fall or winter.

So you don't understand that a backhanded compliment is an insult to someone?

Not sure why you are crying anyway, all I did was point to the dumbness.
