Yes I do.

It's not common at all.

I had never heard it up until that press conference and I'm sure that was the reaction of 99% of fellow Arkansans.

There are not multiple correct ways to pronounce the various states in the union.

So you've never been outside the state of Arkansas. That explains a lot of your responses, actually.

There's nothing wrong with having pride in a win but also don't pretend that there wasn't unprecedented circumstances involving the players, coaches & south Louisiana leading up to that game. That Tiger team was drained mentally & physically in the second half of that game. There's no way the players were able to maintain their normal focus or conditioning in dealing with the fallout from Katrina & Rita hurricanes while some lost friends, family members & homes.

Getting a Vanderbilt/Tennessee-esque "rivalry denied" vibe from you LSU fans when it comes to Arkansas.

Not many coaches in the country I'd take over Butch but he ranks right up there with Meyer and Gary Patterson.

It's hard to stay in one place that long and hold a program at the level LSU has been at.

He's got 5 years to really cement his legacy. I suspect he'll retire after that. I think he can get another title.

You're the one trying to add a caveat to what falls under professionalism so you don't seem like such a fricking retard for the comment you made.

Not one person who actually understands professionalism and ethics will tell you that fricking a subordinate is not unprofessional because it "is your personal life".

you are correct in the sense that ALL head coaches pretty much don't coach anymore. sure, you see a film clip of them doing it at times but that is mostly hype shite. these guys are in their fricking 50's and 60's. they hire position coaches to duh, COACH.

what a stupid statement. les miles has forgotten more about football than YOU WILL EVER KNOW. think about that. you must be a moron.

Deflection, now the straw man strategy.

Dude you are arguing with yourself.

We know that as you posted honestly about your belief that saying Ar-Kansas is the most unprofessional thing a coach has ever done. You then tried to "honestly" argue that what Petrino did wasn't unprofessional because it involved his personal life.

You're still replying to me thinking you're making some sort of novel argument when in reality all you're doing is revealing that you are a special kind of stupid.

IF IF IF

IF OK St beats Iowa St then LES probaly has two BCSNCs.
Take that '11 title from lil nicky and how many does that make him at bama?

How bout this for the '11 season?

LSU conference CHAMPS of the toughest conference in all of college football, 9-0 for the season. Then 0-1 in the bowl game. Tigers proved they were the best team in the SEC on NINE saturdays.

bama #1 team in the rankings because they were fortunate enough to be GIVEN a rematch against someone that BEAT them @ BDS.

I bet IF I took the time to research a couple of saban's other titles he wouldn't have so many.

Hell let's start with the '03 one at LSU. Didn't someone have to lose the last weekend of the season for LSU to get in VS OU?

As for the "it" factor. Don't know what the "it" factor is but, meyer doesn't have a winning record VS Miles.

Hey, I'm bored with you so you win ok?

I think it means a whole lot more to you than it does to me so I'm throwing in the towel.

You can brag to your boyfriend about it tonight about how you made my arse quit.

You're on here all the time pulling this same shite week in week out with anyone with an hour to kill.

My hour is up.

I'm sure you have nothing better to do.

Yeah I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that your entire stance is utterly ridiculous and shows your lack of intellect is astounding.

I can honestly say I've never had an argument that included as stupid a remark as the one you made. So, no. I don't do this every week.

With your truly impressive lack of knowledge in regards to ethics and just general professionalism, and now this brilliant zinger, I think it's safe to assume mommy has told you it's time to get off of the computer and go play outside.

Go soak up some sunshine little fella. I'm sure she will let you back on once you finish your homework a couple days this week.

I thought it was funny, but I seriously doubt that he mis-pronounced it on accident. When he was at Okie State, he probably lived within an hour of the Arkansas border and mingled with Arkansans all the time.

He is the 2nd or 3rd winningest coach in CFB since 2005.

He was the #1 winningest coach in CFB before last season. But, you know, with the Decline and all......

He has met saban 9 times. 7 of the 9 went down to the final minute, and 6 in the final seconds and/or OT. Miles could easily be 6-3 or at worst 5-4 against him. No one has challenged bama like he has.

Les Miles is to college football what George Seifert was to the NFL. Both are/were players coaches and great team managers whose overall success depended largely on the quality of their coordinators.

First off, Seifert was a defensive backs coach & defensive coordinator himself on Bill Walsh's staff before getting promoted when Walsh retired.

Secondly, he took over with tGoat at WR & a Hall of Fame QB in Joe Montana & later in Steve Young. There was a level of familiarity with the players when Seifert took over. Seifert's success had more to do with having future Hall of Famers as leaders at key positions.

Because of that, this comparison makes no sense when you have the amount of turnover on the college level & factoring in that Miles wasn't a member of Nick Saban's staff at LSU.
