So how good of a coach is Les Miles?

I don't think of him as a great coach, but I feel like he's better than I think he is. Maybe the whole aloof act he pulls off so very well effects my opinion of him. IDK. Hes had a truly impressive run at LSU. After having only moderate success at Okie St, he has never won less than 8 games at LSU, only had one losing conference record and won 10+ 6 times. Both his overall record (103-29) and his conference record (56-24) are very good.

Does he not get enough credit? Would you trade your coach for him?

there are only two coaches in the sec with a better resume than his. but you know 11th season coaching with saban's players.

He's a manager, not a coach. His assistants know football, not him

i agree with you and i wish he would do just that. hire the right assistants and let them do their own thing. shite, hire a timeout assistant

I just knew that was reason for Les' success.

Well, he's no Bert, but he's pretty equal to Gus.

he has been coaching at a place with ridiculous expectations at a time when the competition has never been better for 11 years and still has a job. Seems pretty clear to me.

I like Les.

As Bill Parcels used to say, you are what your record says you are, and Les' record is pretty damn good.

The negatigers & Les haters are delusional and borderline retarded, IMO.

If Bama didn't have Saban, I would take him over every other SEC coach. I like Les and he's good for the conference.

I do believe Miles is legitimately one of the best in the game currently. you can tell the man loves the game and has fun with it. you hear people talk about "players coaches" and I believe he is that for sure but Miles is also a "fan's coach" and not many can say that. you find a coach that can be that successful, do it as long as he has and still have fun like its his rookie campaign every season and you have a rare breed! thats what I see in coach Miles.

He's a good coach and a great guy. Saban will always own him but he will most people. Saban is a rarity like coach Bryant. If Saban were not at BAMA lesticles would probably own those 3 NC Saban had won at Bama.?

I like Les, I'm glad he's around. He's entertaining and unique.

He just kind of is LSU anymore.
