I was happy Georgia won. But glad they looked like shite doing it. If they would have lost I think if A&M beat Texas, we would’ve have to play Texas again in the championship.
Beating the horns once would have been hard but twice would have been a tougher task.

So, I am glad Georgia looks like shite. And I am glad they won anyway.

If A&M beats Texas today, I would have been certain Georgia would beat A&M. Now, I after seeing how you dealt with a very mobile QB, I am thinking we have a legitimate chance.

Georgia had already clinched a spot in the sec champ game, dude. This was an ooc game.

Also Reed /= King
He’s smaller and more slight. Good luck trying to ram him on runs through the tackle box like GT did with King

except targeting remains a mystery because in one of the OT’s our receiver got speared.

Like King did in the “fumble”.

The game was a true test to see how far the committee is willing to go to keep uga and Bama in the playoff picture.

UGA getting bailed out by the refs on numerous occasions and absolutely did NOT deserve to win that game. Ga. Tech won the game, and anyone who watched it know this to be true.

That being said... it's a rivalry game. How good your team is goes out the window during rivalry games. They are... different.

They handed UGA the game.

Nah, Georgia stole it. Good for them.

Fun game to watch. UGA got gifted the game with the no targeting call, though.

All of the overtimes where each play was “the game” was fricking exhausting.
worst change to OT rules - the one play for each team at each end - and then have to move to the other EZ -

OT should be 1&G at the 10 and you cannot kick a FG - must try to score a TD on all 4 downs - no XP kicks either - just 2 PAT tries -

game itself was highly entertaining - and had the typical missed/no calls and bad calls from officiating -

the biggest play was the hit by Jackson with the crown of his helmet on King that made contact to King's face mask around his chin - which in the past under some officials judgement has been flagged for targeting with "forceable contact to head/neck" even though the a player was not considered 'defenseless"

we've heard many rules officials on TV broadcasts explain a referee can make a judgement call if they feel the hit was excessive or dangerous -

Dawg fans have absolutely nothing to say about the phantom PI call on 4th and 3 (tipped pass too) or the thug personal foul on King that would have given them 1st and goal. Either likely would have iced the game. It’s just a pussy fanbase that wouldnt actually say shite to anyone’s face but rather just say “melt”. I mean these are grown ups that bark at people. What do you expect?

How does it feel that your best team ever will still miss the SEC championship and the playoffs??

Interesting takes by folks.

I didn’t see most of these calls or it didn’t feel like that in the stadium.

Still baffled by defensive holding on the GT run play.

Didn’t think it was PI on UGA in the end zone in OT, did think it was PI on GT once in end zone.

They definitely were letting them hold more than usual.

Never saw the targeting and it was never really brought up in stadium.

IT was a great game to watch. Both teams gave it their all. But in all honesty, its amazing that it was so close. Georgia has 70, 5 and 4 star players. 14 of them being 5 stars. Tech has 14 total 4 star players.

UGA basically has three starting rosters of blue chip recruits while Tech can barely field a half a starting roster.

And UGA needed a bad call to beat them in ocho overtimes.

Cudos for UGA for not losing.

Looks like Georgia is playing to the level of their competition. The playoffs are going to be exciting I think. Right now it looks like Oregon and Ohio State are the best teams.

Yes it was a great game, stupid penalties notwithstanding.

At first it felt like the Bama/OU game, how Bama came out kinda flat and was on their heels by halftime. I thought GT had it won, but yeah the last 5 minutes and OT was fun to watch

UGA won a game they should not have won but that’s what championship football programs do in route to a title.
UGA will definitely need to get their head out their arse and start playing dominate football or they will get beat.

Bullshite PI call on a tipped pass that would’ve been turnover on downs.

This was absolutely the biggest missed call of the game to me, that PI was bs
