Brian Kelly. Tennessee was expected to be good by many publications. LSU not as much.

He's done a great job at LSU so far.

A lot of teams can say that same thing right now.

It's Heupel. Easily. These people know this. They are just trolling.

Kelly probably the front runner, but Smart deserves serious consideration. He lost a lot of players to the NFL and has his team as undisputed #1.

Jimbo Fisher needs some kind of award. Maybe clown of the year.

39 scholarship bowl returnees + 46 new players. Well done.

They don't have 85 scholarship players, only 71.

So LSU is also playing "shorthanded" compared to pretty much everyone else.

That OT/2-PT conversion Saturday was a gutsy call and the Tigers cashed in. That falls on the HC.

He would get my vote obviously as an LSU fan but the more amazing thing to me than the Bama game coaching is the rebuild. In January he burned LSU to the ground keeping the OL coach who only had one season at LSU. He fired and hired the complete S&C program, recruiting program, analysts, and field coaches while only having 39 sholarship players on the roster. He held the recruiting class together and crowned it with a bunch of quality transfers via the portal.

Kirby is riding a wave right now. If you have been a college football fan for a long while, the waves don’t last. Same with Saban.

It is a three man race: Kelly, Kirby, and Heupel.

If Kelly figures out a way to beat Kirby in the SEC championship game, it's Kelly.
If Kirby wins the SEC, it's Kirby. Dude is likely going back to the playoffs a year after losing all that talent.

Tennessee will be an absolute juggernaut in 2024

Your 2022 class was ranked 17th?
Your 2021 class was ranked 22nd?

Absolute juggernaut.
I don't think that means what you think it means.

Coach is the year is Heupel. He has done more with less than any other coach in the SEC.

LSU had no coach, 39 scholarship players and a WR at QB to end last season. I’m willing to bet that BK had a lot less in the pantry when he arrived in BR.

Um didnt you guys bring back your starting QB and like 5 star players everywhere. Kelly got a decimated roster with no returning QB , 15 player recruiting class and a bunch of portal transfers that were not world beaters. Your dip was considered maybe a ranking in the polls of 10 to 15. LSU was predicted to finish last in the SEC west.

No SEC coach has had a bigger impact on his team this season than Jimbo

If Heupel and Kelly coached This years UGA team they would get same results

But they're NOT coaching this year's UGA team because Kirby recruited and signed all those players. Recruiting is part of the job.

Poor Tenner. Has best season in recent memory and still won't make the SECCG or have the consolation prize of an award for their fat coach.
