THIS! These refs are amazing at orchestrating wins for Bama. From an outsider's perspective, it LOOKS like Bama gets flagged as much or more than anyone. But, some super sleuth LSU fans showed me that the refs are actually all Bama fans and are members of a secret organization that analyzes the effects of penalties called at certain times in a game, and use their finding to win games for Bama, all at game speed. It's really an unbelievably coordinated group of geniuses. And they somehow manage to keep any rogue dissenters from entering the REC Ref Club.
it's unbelievable that so many actually believe exactly what you just posted. Just, utter delusion.

Rick Pitino used to have a philosophy about basketball... if you commit enough fouls on defense the ref can't call em all.

Statistics: Proof that the REC works smart. Not hard.

They should include a second subset of this stat.
Penalties which maintained a scoring drive. I am not in on the conspiracy, but it would be fun to track all of this data and watch the trends.

Stats don't mean shite. It's not just Bama that gets these calls but any team that's looking favorable for a particular match up etc. If you can't see this going on for years now then your blind as a bat.

and no calls that appear to be blatant.

Agree, but that one would require way too much manpower and some consensus that it was actually a legit no call. Not sure how that would get easily tracked.

quote:Wait, so the refs not only call penalties at very specific and opportune times but they also look at the current rankings, future teams on the horizon and take all of that into consideration in live game action in favor of Bama? How much time are these dozens of SEC refs spending each week to orchestrate this grand scheme?

Don't these guys also have full time week day jobs?

Hey Vols........can any of you tell me what in the name of Mike Stoopsian level shite is this?
Posted on 10/21/19 at 1:57 pm to DivePlay
Well they already do first downs by penalty which is also telling.

Careful now, that shite right there just flies over Gumps heads

Watch the game and watch when certain penalties are called against opponents and watch when they are called against Tide

Inbred trailer trash Gumps act like this is something difficult to do. We've all seen this movie a thousand time, yet the Gumps feel if they disagree, it somehow changes facts. Their opponents are continually flagged for drive killing penalties, or score reversing penalties to build up a multi score lead, then they slap on a few ticky-tack fouls against the Gumps at the end of the game when it is out of reach just to make the penalty count less lopsided. Too bad the Gumps are too stupid to see this, or man enough to acknowledge it.

Look at the early start the refs allowed 10rc.
Muh refs.
Muh refs.

Don't you think if the REC and Birmingham were in cahoots they would be smart enough to at least call some garbage time and unimportant penalties to make the yardage look even? So bozos like you could half-wittedly make terrible posts to the SEC Rant like you just did?

Since you have those stats, what percentage of penalties on Bama were in the 2nd half, or better yet the 4th quarter?

Yes, WE'RE the stupid ones. Ain't it funny how the losers are the ones that always find these crazy conspiracies that aren't backed up by any facts or stats? They have to resort to unmeasured vague metrics that, just could be in their own heads?
If MY team were losing (repeatedly) I'd probably spend a lot more time pointing out the calls and no calls that don't go my team's way. I promise, they're there. But, when you win, you don't really want to spend your night collecting 1/2 second gifs that "prove" your theory that you got the short end of the stick on a call. You'll see that, if you ever get to our level.

Doesn't matter what the stats show you guys will move the goalposts and whine about something else no matter what.

Tennessee was averaging 5 a game and had 13 when playing against Alabama.
