That was the fiesta bowl, not a national championship... was just presumed the winner would be ranked #1.

BAN yourself for this comment! Admit you forgot about Tommy Frazier dragging half your team for a 50 yard TD run, or you were not alive.

Either way GTFO!

I've seen some really dumb comments and I know I've made a few but that right there is the dumbest of all. Do you even remember Nebraska? They beat the crap out of the Lizards.

Kind of hate to see this one go away. I would love for ForeverGator to come back and tell us how Florida has never lost a National Championship game, and how that makes the rest of us losers.

Hey, Gator! here is a link to the Highlights of that game Florida didn't lose!

Fiesta Bowl #1Nebraska vs #2 Florida, but it wasn't for a Naional Championship.

People always want to go one step further to rile up another fan base, and usually they step right in int.

BTW, that gif makes me cringe. That had to hurt.....bad!

Would Florida fans take an sec championship, a playoff appearance and a National title game loss to Alabama next year if it would play out the exact same way? I'm willing to bet there are 12 other sec fan bases outside of Georgia and Alabama that would take that next year and live it.

Not if I paid 2,000+ dollars to watch my top tier coach shite his pants in the second half against a Freshman quarterback who tore through his ''top ten'' defense like tissue.

Albeit Tua is a seriously good quarterback.

Yeah, that was an amazing team. I know they didn't throw much running the option, but they did throw some and gave up 0 sacks all year. Nobody was going to beat them in 95. Florida never had a chance.

Good, because you won't get that chance for a long, long time. However, you and your team can watch us on TV, like this year.
