So are the Georgia fans happy to spend thousands of dollars to see their team lose?

Some Georgia fans spent $5000+ each to go to the Rose Bowl and the National Championship, only to watch their team lose.

I have to ask, was it worth it? I know many of you could afford it after taking second mortgages on your trailers and saving for the last 37 years, but now you won’t be able to afford food for your families and you let Saban win another one.

Some of us are undefeated in national championship games. Losers.

Yes. We aren't poor like UF fans, so it's really not that big of a deal.

Didn't you guys get destroyed by Nebraska in a NC in the 90's?

Sure beats going 4-8 or whatever Florida did this year

And did you really say UF never lost a NCG? Really?

Pretty sure we won the Rose Bowl. Maybe you should have invited your football team over to the house to watch it with you.

That was the fiesta bowl, not a national championship... was just presumed the winner would be ranked #1.

I’m sure the UGA fans would of much rather been at home watching with the Florida fans. You UF fans may as well get used to watching Georgia play in Atlanta because I don’t see Daniel Mullen stopping the Dawgs anytime soon.

So it was a de facto-national championship

^It was absolutely the NCG. Otherwise Nebraska would have been in the Orange Bowl and Florida would have been in the Sugar Bowl

The Big 8 Champ was tied into the Orange, while the SEC champ was tied into the Sugar

The only reason Nebraska and Florida played in the Fiesta Bowl is because it was a NCG.

That's how it was back then. I think it was called the "Bowl Alliance."

1995.
Nebraska 62
Florida 24

You call this a win?

Actually, it was. It was 1 vs 2. Winner take all. Tommie is still running.

Why would you bring Alabama into a troll thread started by a Florida fan?

Florida fans/posters are turning in to a whole new breed of stupid. I mean, one posts something dumb, and it's almost as if another one sees it and tries to one up the first one!
