So. . . using Gump logic - if LSU loses, they get in too, right?!?

All the talk from Gumps about Bama doesn't have to win this game to get into the CFP. Especially if they play without Tua.

So using Gump logic. . .it works the other way too right?

If LSU loses this game to the #2 (some might say #1) team ON THE ROAD. Tua or no Tua. . .LSU gets in the CFP too right? What am i missing? They definitely have a tougher schedule than Bama and the only loss on the resume would be at BDS. How the frick do yall suppose that Bama would get a pass for losing AT HOME but LSU wouldn't get a pass for losing ON THE ROAD to the top team in the country (since, you know, LSU doesn't deserve to be #1 and all. . .)

While this is some weird troll attempt, the fact is that, yeah, the same logic applies.

If the game is close, and the right dominoes fall elsewhere, LSU absolutely gets in.

Most of that talk has been on "Birmingham radio" per people posting here and by folks other than Alabama posters.

LSU would have a much better shot at getting in at 11-1 with a close loss to Alabama than visa versa. They'd have 1 extra win (Florida) and their loss would have been a road loss.

Would still take some stuff happening.

Its iffy unless Clemson and OSU drop one.

LSU currently has the best resume.

LoL why so mad? What a bitch way to ask a simple question.

Many have said they felt both would still make it in.

So this "Game of the Century" is so important that. . .it means nothing??

If the right right dominoes don't fall around the country, then it's going to mean quite a lot.

Maybe, assuming they don’t lose any other games. I don’t think Bama is a lock to get in if they lose this game.

No. Because nobody, anywhere, wants you sister frickers around. Including the CFP.

The only way you inbreds make the playoff is if you are 13-0 and the committee has no choice.

Depends on how LSU loses..Get blown out by 30, then probably not.

Lose by single digits in a hard fought game, then yeah, LSU probably still gets in.

I know you are trying to troll but i believe that whoever loses on 11/9, if they win out then they will still be in the playoffs.
Some of you posters are like 12 YO school girls.

I agree with that 100% and to tell u the truth I haven’t heard any Bama fans say that if they lose and win out, they get in. And Vice Versa, but LSU doesn’t get in. I don’t know what he’s talking about, I guess he’s talked to some stupid fans, cause any fan with knowledge knows either team has a good shot at getting in the CFP with there only loss being this game, unless it’s one of us gets blown out. This is the most confident I’ve been since the first game we played y’all in 2011. I never really thought we had a chance these last 7 times. Really cause of Les Miles and his stubbornness to run the ball to the middle of Bama’s defense. Yalls Dline was always better then our Oline and there was no threat of us throwing the ball. So not only could we, or really anyone else, run the ball against y’all with 7 in the box. But when y’all would bring that safety up to make it 8 in the box, cause y’all werent scared and knew we couldn’t throw the ball, we never stood a chance. And that’s what’s basically been going on. Coach O knew we had to change our Offense, just like Saban did years ago, but we didn’t really have our personal to do it last year. Plus it was Burrow’s first year, he came to LSU only months before his first start, and we didn’t have Brady yet. I’m not saying we’re definitely gonna win, but I think we have a descent shot. What are your opinions on this game.

Depends on what happens in the SEC championship game. If FLA/UGA were to win, then LSU loses out unless SEC gets three teams

If Oklahoma and Oregon both lose one more game then there is no other choice than the LSU/Bama loser.
