SMU did win 11 games. Against one loss.
Say what you will but they answered the bell 11 out of 12 games. They took care of business. They will be in CFP win or lose Saturday.

And TV audience size/ratings. Some of these crap conferences have massive, mostly untapped markets for CFPs because their teams have always been irrelevant.
I still think the cream will rise to the top when they play the games, but putting in cupcakes is lame and will be boring to watch. Hope I'm wrong.

Texas or A&M should schedule an annual meeting with SMU at the beginning of the season. This would tie into the SEC vs. ACC matchups, such as UF vs. FSU, Clemson vs. USCe, UK vs. Louisville, and UGA vs. Ga Tech.
While we're at it have LSU play Tulane annually.
