Should LSU convince Arkansas and Texas A&M to go to the Big 12 with them?

Before you laugh without reading, I think LSU could convince those two schools to join.
Remember, those two schools have alumni with money to spend. If the SEC succeeds, who's to say a school like Texas A&M wouldn't be next?
Let's remember, Texas is leading this charge. Texas has destroyed every conference it's been in. I'm sure they would love to get Texas A&M and Arkansas kicked out.
Let's also remember this, Texas A&M and Arkansas fans should not be any fans of the SEC currently. If I remember correctly, was it not advised or agreed upon them joining the SEC that the SEC would never add Texas?
Texas A&M left the Big 12 and Arkansas left the SWC to get away from Texas. Texas A&M specifically, they wanted out of the shadow of Texas. Now they are right back in that shadow.
If I'm the LSU Administration, I'm in contact with both the Big 10 and Big 12. But I'm also in contact with Texas A&M and Arkansas to see if they would be willing to join LSU. Maybe even Mississippi State. Miss State will always be in Ole Miss's shadow being in the SEC, joining the Big 12 could bring life to that school.
I really hope the LSU Administration are considering all options currently.

Too late. I stopped reading because I don't want AtM following LSU anywhere. Let them stay in the forever shadow of Texas.
If we did ever on the longshot set up shop in the Big XII, I would definitely welcome Arkansas. It might be in their best interests to move anyway. This scenario isn't going to happen but I do wonder what life in the current Big XII would look like. It's nuts that we're even talking about this.

Florida State was the top priority for the SEC but passed them on for the ACC.
They wanted Miami but they ended up in the Big East.
Next they wanted Texas and the Aggies. They stayed put.
So that left them with plan C in Arkansas and South Carolina. They didn't want them but they needed them for an SECCG.

The administration at Texas was completely enamored with the idea of being able to align academically with Stanford via a Pac10 invite. It was their dream.
The amount of money out there available through research grants was, and is, staggering. Aligning with Stanford would have been a huge payday for Texas, beyond anything football provided.

Arkansas wasn't a member of the Big 12.
But they certainly don't like sharing a conference with Texas.
They spent 75 years in an all Texas conference that was politically suffocating.

If Frank Broyles wasn't good friends with Roy Kramer then Arkansas would have stayed and eventually merged with the Big 8.

South Carolina has a bigger bond with SEC schools because of the close proximity.
Not so much with Arkansas who isn't in the Southwest or the Southeast.
They are in no man's land.

If all 15 schools vote LSU out then no one will follow LSU.
