You started a thread about a kid playing a game who made you mad.

Ever heard of Mack Crowder?

Butch Jones’ OLines were depression-inducing.

Yep, your center was the cause of all of Bama’s woes. Jeez, you Bama fans always have excuses don’t you?

Why? He is getting paid to play and probably making more money than any regular student on campus… hell probably making more than most Americans are making in a year.

Once you go from amature student to taking money semi pro it all changes. He is getting substantial money to perform and it’s very clear he isn’t able to snap a ball consistently.

When you take large sums of Money the criticism comes with it. I’m just shocked that nobody is calling out the QB in the first half when he decided to slide before the 1st down line instead of getting the first down. Really? This is the biggest game of the year, you are getting a million in NIL and you can’t be bothered to make a play?

If you're going to blame the loss on that one player, then you didn't watch the rest of the players on Bama's team missing assignments. The LT got beat all night. Maybe blame the loss on the coaches calling plays and blocking schemes instead of bashing your own players and making excuses, it's pathetic.

But didn't he snap the ball fine last season? It's almost like he got the yips this year

Well the two backups behind him were worse than him so that's a lie.

It's also Alabama, not Purdue. So at worst he's probably the 25th best center in the country.

He started 8 games last year at center with Young and it seemed fine. Starter at center in 2021 at end of the season

Something just happened this year that a couple psych sessions could potentially fix quick. Not a sure thing of course

This says more about your coaching staff than it does McLaughlin.

Dude stop blaming the center. You had so many miracles in what should’ve been a 3 loss season, minimum. Count yourself lucky. Koy Moore had more to do with your season ending the way it did than Seth McLaughlin.

Find something else to bitch about. The kid didn't put himself into the lineup.
Besides, all that's history, so let's leave it there.

My 2€. He seemed like a good guy. Heard nothing bad about him as a person.
It seemed to me that at times he would loose his concentration and make snapping errors that were unfortunate.
I wish him only the best where ever he winds up.

Good post,Herm. No the guy wasn't Dwight Stephenson but good night, he had to be a pretty darn good player to start for Nick Saban in the CFB playoff.

Give the guy a break.

I think one of the Pouncey twins was a center at UF right after Tebow graduated. Had one of the worst games I’ve ever seen a C have in a game. I can’t remember if he played C after that
