I have multiple freaking neighbors that would send a 400k check to the REC overnight if it was needed to secure a player of the century guy. There ability to buy players in second to none.
Their network is unreal, and my old man, who was a bag man for an SEC school, used to say it is a waste of time to go after a player they want. They have twice as many recruiters as everyone else in the SEC combined. Even the OBC remarked he could never get a player against bama as their scholarship must have been worth more.
Yet, they let Georgia have him for 400k??? Chump change now. Plus Sabans goal in life is to frick LSU at every chance as it weakens a threat and strengthens his hand. They maybe win one Natty without all the paid Louisiana players.
Yet they pass on the TE of the century......
