I know a guy who recently named his son Ryan after Ryan mallet passed away, and it got me thinking how many people from other fan bases have done something similar then I thought I bet there’s a bunch from Louisiana who’ve done this. Anybody you guys know of?

Assuming that the majority of this board lives in the south, why would anyone name their kid after a Suckeye graduate ?

I don't know anyone who's last name is Burrow. However, I'd Imagine Joe is one of the 10 most popular names in the English language so I'm sure someone has.

Most popular male baby names in Louisiana by year since LSU won the NC:

2020 - Liam, Elijah, Noah, John, William

2021 - Liam, Noah, Elijah, James, William

2022 - Liam, Elijah, Noah, Luke, James

The only states where Joseph or Joe were top 5 were:

2020 - New Jersey (Joseph #4), New York (Joseph #5)
2021 - New Jersey (Joseph #4), New York (Joseph #4)
2022 - New Jersey (Joseph #4), New York (Joseph #4)

Not after Joe, but named their daughter Ellie Sue so it would sound like LSU when you said it. No lie.

My own daughter was almost Joanna Burrow [last name]. Wife overruled it . Pretty sure she was conceived the night we beat Bama.

My son named his son Ryan after Nolan Ryan. I wanted to name my son Yelberton Abraham Tittle Last Name but my wife was most unreasonable about that.

I had two dogs, a yellow one named Lee, the other one was named JJ, both are no longer barking at squirrels.

No, but my son may or not be named Matt.

It's just a coincident that we had 2 qb's named Matt win nattys. Has nothing to do with it....
