Not actually seeing the ball for a touchback because a player was in the way = ok. Nevermind, it was physically impossible for the ball to have not been a touchback.
Later on, they changed a catch called on the field by an lsu receiver to a drop when the camera never showed the ball hit the ground. Our players leg was in the way. It clearly had hit the ground based but you couldn’t actually see the ball touch the ground.
Overturned based on the same basis that ball should have been a touchback. It’s one way or the other. The standard can’t change from play to play.

His O Line play has improved considerably as well.
LSU can dodge the bullet by hiring the younger up and comer versus poaching the established guy.
I would absolutely care. Maybe I’m old but my recollection is that lsu’s football history, when political folks got involved, sucked.
We tried to be cheap and scrape by versus trying to get to a place to better our chances of fricking winning.

There has to be a financial reset.
Prior to NIL: schools spent money on facilities and long term coaches to attract recruits. After all, recruiting was the lifeblood of the programs. Coaches needed a minimum of 5 years left on their deal so they would be there for the recruits entire career.
Other differences was recruiting skill of position coaches. Now, actual coaching is more important.
After NIL:
You are better off spending on players than guaranteeing long contracts for coaches or upgrading a facility to be anything but good enough.
Kids don’t like the coach? So what, you can leave next year.
