The truth of this is simple - the NCAA can't stand the fact that the SEC was dominant this year and does not want to see us take over basketball. Protecting the tourney means protecting teams from outside our conference even if it is grossly unfair.

Yep. I'm quite surprised they didn't get UK and Duke in the same region.

Yeah this was the same case when Auburn was a projected 5 before they won the SEC tournament and still a 5 after. The committee doesn’t care.
People think it's a troll or trying to undermine accomplishments, but there's just too much evidence of it being true. It doesn't move the needle any if at all.

On the other hand the SEC should end the tournament on Saturday for several reasons.

TAMU deserves to be in and Tennessee deserves to be higher.

Playing Jax State in round 1 is interesting for Auburn.

There has always been a Big10 bias on the committee. But Michigan in?

A&M got hosed. They had this set up three days ago.

And now we see Auburn was overall 5. Yeah they don’t care about the tourney at all.

Rutgers and Michigan are really questionable.

SEC underrated and Big 10 overrated yet again

Aggy 100% deserved to get in over the 9th Big Ten team

At this point, I don't think TAMU could've earned a way in save via the auto bid attached. IOW, if an auto bid weren't attached and they won the SECT the NCAA still wouldn't have let them in.

Honestly wonder if A&M had lost by 1 instead of 15 or whatever if it would have made a difference.

3 teams ahead of them. It wouldn't.

There’s a clear 8 teams that are better than the rest. If you’re one of them, you shouldn’t be worried but for maybe one team in your region

Doubt it. Nothing has shown anything from the SEC tournament mattered.

Either way, Buzz has done a tremendous job with Aggie. I imagine they’ll do well in the NIT

It's hard to argue against that at this point. I shouldn't be this salty about it, but I am.

You are right and it seems the SEC needs to move the championship game to Saturday.

A conference tournament title should absolutely be in the equation.
