It would only take one text message to Wright, Harris or Pyborg asking if they would come back to play at LSU after signing their NFL contracts to sink the S.S. LSU. If the ship goes down, it will drag Rousse, Ausberry and Kiffin down with it.
They sued the NCAA, not the SEC, originally. So these hypothetical texts would come before the SEC was involved. Yet the SEC is suing.
They better have texts that say "ADD THE SEC TO THE LAWSUIT!"

If they did not continue the process with the player they would expose themselves to being sued.
Just like Mizzou
Hence an impossible choice
LSU just is more American and followed the rule of law
A TRO is not really being sued in a way of consequence, so I don't get your argument I guess.

He created enough drama over the last year for the league that they are going to make him, and by extension, LSU pay the price.

Kiffin's public statements
And that right there is the problem with Kiffin in a nutshell.
The best thing Saban did to rehab his image was not allow him to talk.
Crazy shite.

What evidence do you have?
That Wright is practicing with LSU. That Jack Pyporg announced he was headed to LSU if he was waived by his NFL team.
Those guys talked to somebody at LSU before they were waived by an NFL team. Otherwise Pyborg would not have announced he was headed to LSU before he was even waived by his NFL team.

All I can do is laugh. Ole Miss and South Carolina have both been named by a player as having recruited him. Good luck!

Okay? That doesn't prove that LSU coaxed these guys to sue the conference. You seem confused as to what the suit is alleging.

This will be the impetus of the rise of the super conference.
With the present state of college football, there’s no way schools can operate with rules changing so frequently in regard to eligibility.
Regardless of how you may feel about LSU, Kiffin or what they may have or may not have done, the NCAA is no longer capable of running things smoothly.

No one is suing for recruiting these guys. They're suing saying LSU/Kiffin "coaxed them" into suing for eligibility.

That is the spirit. Keep fighting. Don’t back down. Don’t bend the knee. You guys can win a 15 on 1 fight, even if some of those 15 are bigger, stronger, and faster than you, and all 15 are smarter than you. You have that swampwater in your veins. Keep fighting.

They have other texts. Just wait.

Kiffin whored out his daughter to go to lsu btw

The odds they win this are very very low.

No, they're not. Read the complaint. Here is the alleged complained of conduct:
quote:
Defendants waged a deliberate and coordinated campaign to recruit professional athletes to play football for LSU during the 2026-27 season, including players who had signed NFL contracts with the Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Numerous reports have shown that at least two of these professional athletes are on campus and actively practicing with LSU’s football team. Defendants have also expressed their unequivocal intent to place those athletes on LSU’s official football roster and allow them to participate in football games during the upcoming season.
So they are suing because LSU: (1) recruited them, (2) let them practice, and (3) have expressed their intent to add them to the roster.

It sounds like the SEC may have a message from someone at LSU, likely Kiffin, suggesting to one of these guys that they file a lawsuit to regain their eligibility. If so LSU will be Kiffin’s last college head coaching job.

You can keep typing gibberish all you want, but Stankey just opened an enormous can of worms that will cost him his job most likely. LSU’s lawyers will decisively win this because that is the only viable outcome. Now go back to melting in your corner repeating “I hate LSU”

Even the NFL coaches didn't admit to conversations with Kiffin but there might be texts.
I can't remember the head coach of which team, I think it might have been the Browns HC, said he wondered why Kiffin tried to contact him and after being asked about pro's returning, he said, "now I know why." Of course, Lane vehemently denied it and said someone must have been impersonating him.
