SEC Schools as Halloween Candies (a thread)
Bama: Hershey Bar- the gold standard, but doesn’t hit as hard as it used to
Arkansas: Swedish Fish- bright red and better than you remember
Auburn: Whoppers- they leave a bad taste in your mouth, but some folks love them
Florida: Tootsie Rolls- Once you get over the initial taste; they aren’t that bad
Georgia: Reese’s Cups- The best.
Kentucky: Laffy Taffy- Mid
LSU: Snickers- usually good, but always contains a few nuts
Mississippi State: Smarties- Yikes
Ole Miss: 3 Musketeers- sounds better in concept than in reality. Usually underwhelms.
Oklahoma: Candy Corn- the folks that love them won’t shut up about them, otherwise meh.
Mizzou: Pretzel M&Ms- new to the scene, some folks think they don’t belong, but actually pretty good
South Carolina: Charleston Chew- underrated and still waiting for its time to shine
Tennessee: Take 5- Finally living up the hype but also a tad salty
Texas: Sour Patch Kids- Love them or hate them, they’re ubiquitous
Texas A&M: Almond Joy- Nutty with a cult following
Vandy: 100 Grand: always slept on but now folks are realizing they’re pretty good!

Loved them as a kid. By the time I finished trading for them, I had enough to last me for about two weeks. Most of my buddies were out in 3 days or less.

I actually like smarties and Circus Peanuts

Florida: those nasty orange oblong candies shaped like little basketball shoes-- in commemoration of the infamous Shoegate Game.
