Good stuff
Interesting with UF/BGSU being at 330. Figured that wouldve been a 12N or an evening game.
Not surprised with the A&M time.
Tennessee will be interesting at 6, but glad it's in the evening. I'll be glad to watch that one before I head off to MSU/Notre Dame

"with 76,000 dollars in attendance today..."
Verne actually said that once during our game.

At least the opener vs BGSU ain't a noon start
And that 2:30 CT start for UF vs A&M? Good lord thats gonna be hot as shite
UF-UT night game? I'll take it. At least it ain't at noon

"What are the keys to this game?"
"Well, Verne, a few things stick out to me. One. The play of Tyler Wilson. How will he adjust to the agressive style of D that Saban puts on the field? Also, can Alabama get the run game going? This contest is going to be decided in the trenches."
"*Chortle* I've been told by our producers that I am not wearing pants."

Washington @ LSU on ESPN over UGA @ Mizzou
Oh well, it is still a night game on ESPN2

Arkansas/Bama was moved from week 4 to week 3 this year.

Kinda sucks how A&M gets showcased and Mizzou getting shafted down to the Deuce for their SEC opener.

Anybody think a SEC team/teams will get college gameday in the first 3 weeks of the season? Other than Alabama vs Michigan week 1, I have a hard time seeing it in week 2 or 3.

However, it would not completely surprise me to see them go to College Station or Columbia to be there when one of the new schools has their first SEC game.

When's the last time ESPN had two SEC teams at 11? Thought that was the Big 10 slot?

A&M isn't on CBS Numberwang... CBS doesn't start their coverage of the SEC until the 3rd week of the season due to the US Open in Tennis.
It's a 230 ESPN National kickoff. Yeah, its primetime, but if you've been to SE Texas in September, you'll understand that it will most likely be 100 degrees with 100% humidity.
I'll be getting frickfaced regardless, but I'll baking like a mother fricker in Section 144.

Week 2 could maybe be the texas a&m vs Florida game... I dont think they'd go to Columbia though since the game is on ESPN 2. Week 3 the only 2 SEC possibilities are Florida at Tennessee and Ole Miss vs Texas. I would say Bama vs. Arkansas but its on CBS... Id be shocked if the SEC got one week 2 or 3 though

When was the last time CBS didn't have UT/UF as its opener not counting 9/11, Pearl Harbor, the Boston Massacre, Hiroshima/Nagasaki, and the time Bill Buckner let a ball roll thru his legs?
I wanna say '94. I remember it a night game.
Edit: I think I'm way off. After doing some digging, UCLA vs Tenn was the opener in '96. The games in '98 and '99 were CBS, but night games. Not sure if there were games on CBS before that. So, 2000 was the first 2:30ct CBS game I found in this streak.

While I suspect the Gator fans will be accustomed to heat and humidity, it's going to be brutal. Probably 93* with 95% humidity for a heat index in the triple digits. No wind, either.
Awful.
Awful.
