aTm is in a pretty good position though for a lot of night games this year. You are too bad to be on CBS at 2:30 and too good to be on more than a couple 11am SEC Network games. The ESPN2 6 or 7 o'clock game is a good place to be. LSU and Bama get shafted with 2:30 CBS games for virtually any game that matters.

Yep, players on both teams will be zapped by halftime and playing sluggish in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Still pumped, but the heat is likely going to be brutal...just hope it's not as bad as the Fresno State game back in '07 (i think?) where people were droppin like flies from heat exhaustion. Heat index was like 108 that day with high humidity.

When was the last time CBS didn't have UT/UF as its opener not counting 9/11, Pearl Harbor, the Boston Massacre, Hiroshima/Nagasaki, and the time Bill Buckner let a ball roll thru his legs?

I like that A&M start time at 2:30 on ESPN. That's prime time on ESPN.

We should have an advantage on the weather front at least. I agree it'll be hot as hell for us fans, but just drink more so you won't mind it as much. At worst you'll pass out.

I dont know...i kind of expect the heat to take a toll on both teams evenly.

Gainesville is hot as shite too, maybe one of the few places hotter than Kyle on gameday. The weather won't matter as far as the outcome goes

Outside of that, I expected Florida at A&M to be a night game.

I can't believe they are going to make our opening day SEC game at the hottest part of the day.

Really should have been a 7pm start.

Ugh. It wasn't bad enough that we get Bama in week 3. Now I have to listen to Vern suck Bama's wang the entire game.

Thank God I'll be in RRS and won't have to listen to their drivel

Have no idea who Vern is but this just sounds funny.
If Bama or Florida is on CBS, the PBP announcers have an orgasm on every play over 5 yards.

At least it isn't the Fox announcers...Vern is better, but not by much.

Ok, Vern Lundquist. I got you, sounded like maybe a local radio personality up there.

Have you not heard the infamous "So is it an incomplete pass?" call?

What a pathetic, loser mentality you have. GTFO with your flaky fandom. We don't need milquetoast poons like you infecting Kyle.

ehhh gfy.
