Huh...

Have we ever played Florida before November? I always remember it being the last SEC game before clemson. Now A&M is in that slot. Interesting.

Either go back to scheduling big time games (clemson/PSU/FSU/etc) or the cupcake games. IMO.

We're playing out the neutral site game stuff then getting back to H/Hs.

2019 - Duke (ATL)
2020 - Southern Cal (DAL)
2021 - Miami (ATL)
2022 - @ Texas
2023 - vs Texas
2028 - @ Notre Dame
2029 - vs Notre Dame

I am just glad we don't have long stretches of 3 plus home games like we have the past two or three years.

I mean, Texas just lost to Maryland for the 2nd straight year. Is it unreasonable to compare them to Duke (who has outperformed them for the last, what, decade?)?

Texas is more fun, but it ain't harder.

Since 2013
Texas : 35-34 (2 Bowl Games)
Duke : 41-27 (4 Bowl Games)

I haven't read through this thread yet but I'm betting there are the usual posters crying about Bamas schedule.

he SEC office conspired with the refs to make AU play three straight SEC away games and 4 out of 5. Our schedule is always so strange.

Auburn doesn't have a single home game the entire month of October. That is garbage.

Lets go ahead and take bets on which game will be affected by a hurricane next year.

By the looks of it, Alabama. They will probably move it to Tuscaloosa.

Alabama continues to schedule the best teams from around the country OOC. Good job tide!

Alabama has also been to 7 consecutive CFP/BCS games. Maybe their scheduling is just fine

Figurative rape in week 3 and a literal rape in Week 11

in terms of making a schedule multiple years ahead of time, yes it is.

I give you a pass on Louisville, you do not get a pass on Duke man come the f on

Not many teams in the country have 3 playoff teams on their regular season schedule.
Some do it pretty often. Auburn's faced Clemson/Bama with Oklahoma in the bowl in '16, Clemson/UGA/Bama in '17 and Washington/UGA/Bama in '18 regular seasons.

if you're Bama there's no reason to schedule anybody with a pulse OOC bc you know you get the benefit of the doubt anyway.

Just kind of a chicken shite thing to do for a program like Alabama. Something you'd expect out of a Kansas State or Aggie.

Oh no, this game sucks. But, in the end, I think this may have been the game that got people to bombard the AD office enough that they basically decided to stop just signing up for the neutral site games and letting Dallas/Atlanta pick our opponent. I'm not sure if we didn't schedule this Duke game that we wouldn't be playing this dumbass games in NFL stadiums for another decade.

Instead we finally are getting some home and homes.

But yea, it sucks. Nobody wants to play Duke in a neutral site game to open the year. However, they'll probably end up being better than Louisville was and probably just as good as FSU was. Still, barf.
