I think he's going to be pretty good once he matures. Played like a freshman but has a great skillset to be successful in this league.

State seems to have the whole get a guy into his 4th or 5th year and watch him grow into the job thing locked down.

Can we get a bottom five in the conference so we can see where Starkel is?

I swear it will suck so much for college football is Tua isn't 100% by the LSU game.

My dream scenario would be LSU #1, Oklahoma #2, Alabama #3, and Clemson #4 for the CFP. 4 best QBs (even if Trevor has been in a slump this season) plus Hurts vs Tua would legit be awesome.

Tua and Joe both have 2 ints on the year now. I guess sacks are what is keeping Joe's qbr down. 2nd in conference and 4th in nation is real good I know, but his other stats are number 1 in conference and I'm just wondering.

Whale. Whale. Whale.

Looks like that debate has been settled.

It's not quite 7 months yet, but let us re-visit an offseason Burrow thread... shall we?

Check in if you think Joe Burrow is better than Kelly Bryant

So we can come back to this thread in about 7 months and get a good laugh.

*Looking at you fricks in the SEC QB ranking thread*

Don't be scared.

A few gems:

He went like 4 straight games without a TD pass. His season stats were teeeeeeeeerrible. It’s laughable that he’s considered a top 5 SEC QB.

Burrow is tough, but he is pretty inflated by LSU fans.
The fans who think every one of their QBs has NFL potential? Are you sure?

He'll play and be close to 100 percent, We had an olineman a few years back get a high ankle sprain, and he was ready in 2 weeks at 310 pounds. Tua is lighter, has 3 weeks, and already has experience with the surgery on the other ankle,

Yeah, It’s completely possible that he plays but it’s near certain he won’t be close to 100%. I’m pulling for the kid because he’s earned his place in this big time match up and it’s a shame that it comes down to this.

Fournette suffered a high ankle sprain in the last week of fall camp during his Junior season. Everyone, and I mean everyone was saying that he would be fine in a week or two and there wasn’t any need to panic.

His high ankle sprain caused him to miss several games while barely rushing for over 500 total yards. It completely destroyed his biggest season as far as expectations is concerned. He battled with it all season long and never played a single down at 100% healthy the entire season.

Guice had a similar injury that caused his Junior season to be underwhelming as well.

So.... I guess the final thought is let’s hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

Mond has yet to put up his "WTF, who activated God mode" game. Looks like it will either come against Georgia or LSU at this rate.

Show the SOS comparison of each and you'll get an even clearer understanding of Burrow being the best QB in the country.

Fire Joe Brady. Joe Burrow is under 80% completion rate now. LOL
