Yea, I guess that would be me.
Buyout (11m) + 4 win season ='s new head coach
I mean, here's how money works. You withdraw the money from the bank and then hand it to the guy you're paying. What am I missing?

What's A&M's 2nd SEC win? South Carolina or Ole Miss?
I could be eating crow after this, but I think A&M wins a few more than two. I think we win this weekend against USC, we have a good chance against Florida, beat one of the Mississippi schools, and... maybe LSU?
Okay, probably not the last one in light of recent years. Still, I think this team is better than we think. They're not great, but they are not complete trash.
Sumlin is most likely still gone in my scenario, but at least we have a team to pull for.
I'm, a fan of course, so my perspective is very biased.

Is the Citrus a good bowl again?
Also, we would probably be very happy since it means we beat LSU in DV and beat UGA. That's probably the biggest frustration with Gus right now.

Probably worse case for Auburn fans. It would be hard to fire after going 9-3 but if he loses to UGA again, at home to a true freshman no less, AU fans gonna lose it.
I don't think it would be that upsetting this year since if you listen to this projection they would be undefeated at the time
The last couple years have been so frustrating because we've been the better team

Auburn fans would be thrilled with that finish. Would mean we snapped losing streak in BR and somehow finished a game against UGA. Sure, losing IB would suck but no one in the SEC can legitimately expect a win against Bama right now. Worst case to me would be wins against LSU and UGA but dropping a game or two against MSU/A&M. 9-3 with a good bowl but masked by a weak SEC. Anything less than 9-3 And Gus has no choice but to beat Bama or be fired.

Auburn can't be 10-2 and UGA 11-1. You forgot about the DSOR.
If Auburn beats us and Alabama beats.......ooooooooOOOOOOOOO....sorry. I get it, now.

No way in hell Kensucky finishes 8-4. I don't see it.

He's being funny because you guys struggle to beat us. I fell for it to, if it's any consolation.

For the first time in a few years I feel really good about our chances playing against you. Means we probably lose.

Worst case is probably 8-4 with losses to UA, UGA and LSU. I hope we'd can him for that but I'm far from confident we would.

None of these are possible together
Bama and UGA will have 13 games.
So either Auburn will have 3 losses or UGA will have 2.
Damn FPI, SEC had a championship game since the 90s

I think if the offense was terrible in those games like it has been in the past then he would get canned.

That would certainly be the metric for me. If he loses all three, I want him gone regardless. If we drop another game outside of those, he needs to win 2/3 to stay IMO.
Unless we end the year playing really competitively, I'd prefer him be out if we lose 2/3 (and we're 9-3), but it definitely won't happen.
