yeah, but burrow took the worst coaching hire in the history of the sec to an undefeated year.
So did Cam. Cam also won a NC and Burrow hasn't yet. People who didn't watch the SEC tuned in to watch Cam. No one tried to see Burrow.

Most underrated player of the decade?

Connor Shaw. Undefeated at home as a starter (17-0, 27-5 overall) with his senior year having 24 TDs and 1 INT.

Decades start in year 1 and end in year 10. So, 2010 is actually the last year of the prior decade.

If that's your definition, then we can't decide the player of the decade until next year.

And different people have different definitions of the start of a decade. So it's not your personal belief/definition that matters as much as that of the op and/or the consensus definition.

He played bad against Alabama. That team got exposed after that game but if you are to take that game out as an outlier. He averaged 5.4 YPC the 3 games after the Bama game and the Bowl game.

But if burrow leaves and LSU implodes the melt would get nuclear.

Man, the melt wish can has finally been kicked clear into next year.

It needs to be someone who had a great career, not just one season. AJ McCarron. No more comments needed

Derrick Henry wasn't even the best RB in the SEC that year.

Henry was significantly better against ranked opponents.

150 ypg vs 117 ypg
2 TD per game to 1 TD per game
5.2 ypc vs 4.6 ypc

Fournette had 72 carries vs teams with a losing record to Henry's 13.
