It took ABC the better part of 1Q of the OU/Texas game to figure out their picture. About 1/4 of the picture was off the screen completely and the picture kept going in and out. Can't wait until next year.

Not sure because ABC will have a 2:30 game and a night game alongside the ESPN broadcasts. Probably a lot of tessitore and Mowins with Herbie and Fowler.

ESPN does need to retire the bottom line. When it first came out people didn't have smart phones in their hands to check scores. It also used to come on the screen for about 1-2 minutes at :28 and :58 on the hour.
Besides that I don't have a problem with ABC vs CBS. I could care less about the analyst group, I mute it and sync my teams radio anyway.

They all suck at this. Every game is a minimum 3.5 hours now.

I hope they have a set announce team and keep the Game of the Week at 2:30….but I guarantee they wont

That you're really criticizing ESPN not ABC. CBS, for instance, is putting on a CBS production.
ABC lets ESPN produce their product. That means that ABC & ESPN are the same (Disney).

I wonder if anybody in ESPN production ever takes notice of how the other networks broadcast their games.
They could learn a thing or two or three or four from how the real Big Boys do it.

Because ESPN uses the same graphics/music for everything. I would hope the SEC pressed hard for its own package. People need to know they are tuning into something special. Would be badass if they brought back the old BCS theme just got SEC games. If it’s this same crap they have now and an SEC game is indistinguishable from a MAC game, then someone in Birmingham failed.
The value of being on CBS in that 2:30 timeslot and with a different presentation than the rest of college football was a huge asset for the SEC. Slive said that on more than one occasion.

Not only that, but for some reason there was a giant black bar on the left side of the screen for OU/Texas game.
