Ok, if Arkansas went 9-4, ended ranked 19, and had 18 starters returning you'd be predicting an SEC West title, but since it's State we are supposed to automatically go 5-7.Who said anything about being compared to the top? Are we better than Bama and UGa? Hell no. Are we better than Auburn? Probably not, but we have them at home which helps. Yes, we have a new coach which might be better or might not. As I said earlier it is a ? mark which all teams have some sort of. You don't want to see it because your team has and still sucks dog balls.

This thread is literally about MS St. being compared to AUB. AUB is at the top of the league. State fans were much more tolerable and secure when Dak was playing QB and Mullen was coaching. Save the 9-4 shite, nobody cares you beat LOU in a bowl game. This thread isn't about AR, but I find it funny you think being ranked 19th would spark some Hogwarts type predictions from our fans. That's small potatoes baw.

If LSU fans are stage 5 clinger when it comes to hype and expectations, Mississippi State fans are at 3.50 and rapidly approaching 4.

The common Miss State fan expects 9 wins this year. I’d say that’s realistic.

I would agree that's realistic, if you're including a bowl win.

I am not. 9 regular season wins. Losses against Bama, Auburn, and either LSU/TAMU.
I think a lot of people are underrating our defense. We have a ton of playmakers on that side of the ball. Joe just needs to hold somewhat of the same production on offense and we could definitely win 9 regular.

Where do these Hog experts on MSU football keep coming from? Moment of Truth, then MSHog, now this guy?
CIMSM does seem to be able to NOT chime in on anything and everything MSU, unlike the other 2

Man outside of the 10 win season with Dak it doesn't appear you have won 9 in the regular season since 1999. So it's kind of an anomaly for State to win 9 in the regular season over the past couple decades.

MSHawg has to be an alter. He’s way too obsessed with all things Mississippi State to be an Arkansas fan.

If he's an Arky fan in MS, then I could understand him being tired of hearing about MSU. But let it go man Chiming in on everything related to State is kinda creepy

Outside of 2014, we haven’t have this much talent on our roster since 1999.

There are some people who say, 'we don't want to be ranked high in the preseason.' You know, I want to be first,
Of course he does. The only chance MSU ever has of being ranked #1 is preseason, before they play anybody remotely competent in the SEC.

We are at home this year, and shouldn't have plays inexplicably blown dead after a ref sees an impending touchdown.

I don’t think it was homecooking, but it was definitely a huge blunder by the ref. Still don’t think it would’ve changed the outcome of the game, but come on, even you can admit that it was a huge frick up by the zebra

I was at the game so I really don't know what play you're even talking about.

We had a fumble recovering for an apparent touchdown early in the game that was inexplicably blown dead by the ref. It was a horrid call.

First quarter of the game last year. Was I think on Auburn's second possession. Even game at that point. Simmons stripped your QB and Sweat ran it back for a TD. Ref called it dead while replay showed it was a strip. We were awarded the ball at the spot of the fumble. Couldn't capitalize and lost all momentum at that moment after a missed FG.

We have most everyone coming back as well…
Didn't Auburn lose like there entire OL, top 2 RB, most of the secondary and best pass rusher.
But most everyone is back, shite just don't add up.
