Yeah pronouncing Auburn dead and buried before the season is pretty much a guarantee they are about to kick the lid off the coffin and start beating people they shouldn’t.

I think most Auburn fans would rather be last than first. Pronouncing Auburn as first does not usually bode well.

This phenomenon hasn’t panned out recently. They have continued to suck

The opposite for UK, when you disrespect them they upset you but when they are picked, they will lose 1 or more that season that should be wins.

7. Auburn

Go ahead and put them in the CFP. This is where scrub players suddenly become all conference. Transfers who were 3rd string at another school become heisman candidates Bama will be up by 5 with 20 seconds to play, on the last kneel down the ball will magically slip out of the centers hand bounding off Bryce's ankle, then gets kicked stright up in the air where an Aubir defender catches it in stride and goes 70 yds and Harsin appears to be a football god.

Next year, they will be preseason top 5 and go 3-9.

Yep, would add MSST too. Will change week to week and be heavily influenced by injuries or player availability (like targeting).

Gonna be a roller coaster.

The irony here is great with A&M actually finishing 5th in the West last year...after being selected 2nd in the west pre-season.

A lot depends on week 2

UK wins and the votes will gather steam heading to the Georgia game

UK loses and they can easily go 8-4 or 7-5

For those critical of the Dores getting a #1 vote, why not have the same issue with the Vols getting a #1 vote? To me either vote (Vols or Dores) is equally suspect.

Did you hear what Clark lea was saying about vandy. He legit said they will be a top program in the country

I don’t care where we are ranked anymore, I’m just happy the Chad Morris years are over.

Who is voting for vandy?

One voter just wasting everyone's time picking Vanderbilt, while stupid, isn't that surprising to me.

All three voters selecting South Carolina to win the East also thinking that they take home the trophy in Atlanta, however, is. South Carolina is on the upswing and schadenfreude in the East is always possible, I suppose, but it's wild that three individuals think South Carolina is going to best Alabama.

Are you but hurt about it?

Weird seeing Arkansas getting that much preseason respect after how down they were. Pitt Boss was a Home Run Hire.

Too bad Kelly didn't get any preseason respect.

I felt like it was weird sucking so bad under Morris. To each their own I guess.

Hogs should be pretty dangerous this year on offense. Return the 3 talented FR RBs from a season ago, starting QB, 4/5 OL, and picked up some nice talent at WR from the portal.

Cincy, South Carolina, Bama, Ole Miss, and LSU all at home.
