"It’s tough to find a school across the entire country with a worse public image than LSU at the moment. Already drawing disdain for a cast of coaches that includes Lane Kiffin, Kim Mulkey and Will Wade, the Tigers are also playing with fire by adding former pro players to rosters."

LSU is one of the 13 founding members of the conference. Currently, 10 remain, with Sewanee, Georgia Tech and Tulane backing out. The other founding members are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

LSU used to be one of us

So what remedy can an individual member or members enforce outside of forfeiting?
I don’t think that, in the playoff environment, anyone would really be too worried about LSU trying to claim a forfeit. And, there is every chance that the conference would decide not to punish the teams that refused to play a team violating the eligibility rules.

You didn’t answer my question.

If an injunction is given on Thursday, what can a member of the SEC do besides forfeit?

The SEC has already expressed they will comply with the court order.

Now the SEC members are being asked to take action?

What can they do outside of forfeiting?

Edit: your occupation is attorney so help us all understand here

I have to laugh that LSU thinks they can be like ND. The draw of ND is Catholicism. They have a unique tie that no other school out there can match. And ND is being pressured to join a conference. What tie does LSU have?

Louisiana swamp trash doesn’t quite have the same ring of appeal to it.

I 100% think it’s possible if Thursday goes against the SEC. It’s what got Texas Tech to back down in their whole debacle.

I don’t think LSU will be kicked out of the conference truly but schools refusing to play against them? I absolutely think that could and would happen

God damn you're one stupid fricking autist, Henry.

Our fanbase embraces the villain role. This has been the most entertaining the sec rant has ever been. ALL LSU, ALL THE TIME!

All you mongoloids that think LSU can make a go as an Independent. Please expel us so we can make our own schedule and make the playoffs every year. You aren’t ND. Even Texas knows enough not to try it

I admit, i wandered over the Tiger Rant and it is hilarious that people think Ole Miss is behind all this. Do you people really think Alabama, Texas, Georgia, UT, Oklahoma, and Auburn are going to make any decisions based on what Ole Miss says or does. They obviously know our AD and President would be biased from the whole Lane fiasco. Think this is bigger than just Lane and football.

The private equity, Lane, Will Wade, Ausberry, Landry.... this is a bunch of schools tired of having to deal with the negativity LSU brings the conference.

Uh, no, you totally missed the point. Not a surprise though.

Dellenger's dumb arse even admitted this was coming not from the SEC, but from school leadership. You can read between the lines and figure that some cock sucker from Ole Miss is just throwing shite.

The SEC can't expel LSU over this. They'd lose the television deal.

Ok, lets game this out.

Injunction rules in favor of players

LSU said they will comply with court order

SEC has expressed they will comply with court order

Individual schools forfeit against LSU

You actually think this would happen?

I’m sure the SEC would love to renegotiate the TV deal after seeing the B1Gs TV deal.

They can vote LSU out of the conference for no longer being a good fit for the conference.

Good luck, after you just blew it up in bad faith and dropped one of your biggest brands, which you will be facing lawsuits over and dragging any potential media partners in with you.

How stupid are you?
