The schools that host LSU stand to lose money. They are not going to cancel those games..
On the other hand, the schools that visit LSU would not lose anything, as the guarantee paid to the visiting team might be enough to cover travel costs, but nothing more than that.

Covid games weren’t played because of roster problems. Didn’t result in a forfeit then. Probably won’t now. But whether it does or doesn’t, you can’t cash a forfeit in at the bank.
