The most accurate list so far.

#1 and #2 are obvious. The rest can be up for debate.

#2 willingly left his team before he could win a CFP game.

(#2's AD refused to let him coach without signing an extension)

With that said, #2 had the #1 offense in the SEC the last 2 years and in 4 of his 6 at his previous SEC school.

Kirby gets the #1 nod for his titles...

Lane gets the #2 nod for his coaching.

This shouldn’t be a matter of much debate.

All those words to say that lsu paid $100M for a coach who has never coached/won a playoff game.

It really isn't.

But, of course, some will still try.

Every fanbase, outside of maybe UGA, would quickly give up their current Head Coach for Lane Kiffin.

I honestly love how much you retards are pumping up Lame. It will make the inevitable crash and burn that much more hilarious to watch.

He brought a shite tier program to the playoffs, and everyone recognizes it whether your jilted arse likes it or not.

How is number 2 ahead of 3 -5? His upside is prob 2nd but right now? No way at all.....lets compare win percentages

Win percentage
Krby Smart- .848
Jon Sumerall- .782
Kalen Debore - .700
Josh Heupel- .732
Mike Elko - . .686
Lane Kiff- .686

So by win perc I think Smart, Debore, Josh are prob top 3...Jon got his win percentage in a lower tier conference so wouldn't be fair.

Lane's was built at USC, Tenn, Ole Miss...so how the hell is he number 2. Two premier programs and he failed at both Tenn and USC...

Oh yea..homerism blinds the obvious..he is as good as Kirby Smart!!!

UGA would not. There might be a few others. I do know one that would go down on him right now to come back.

You actually think he is better then

Ryan Day
Curt Cignetti
Dabo Sweeney
Kyle Whittingham
Marcus Freeman
Dan Lanning
Steve Sark
Kalen Debore

His past says no. Maybe if you claim his future maybe better at LSU it can be talked about reasonably...but as of now. These coaches have done much more.

How is Sumrall lower than Golding?

One has 4 winning seasons as a head coach under his belt. The other has 0 seasons as a head coach under his belt - Fully aware that Golding was handed over the team to coach a couple playoff games, the Ole Miss fans on here won't let anyone forget about it.. Coaching a full regular season in its entirety is a whole other animal.

Also, one is an upstanding citizen and the other has a DUI and an alcohol problem

Very true.

AAC football and SEC football are very different. Ole Miss would have won the natty if they had a real HC, like Sumrall

had they put their ego aside and let Kiffin coach HIS team

Now they're never even going to make a CFP again
