UF 2-1 @Miami
Vandy 3-0 Illi-Chi
A&M 2-1 @Pepperdine
LSU 2-1 Sac State
Arky 3-0 UH, RIce, & TTU in Houston
OM 2-1 UL
USC 3-0 PSU
Mizzou 4-0 Hofstra
UT 3-0 Grand Canyon, St Mary;s, & C Mich in PHX
Bama 3-0 N Dakota
MSU 4-0 Mass-Lowell & Nicholls St
Aub 2-1 Southern

UGA 1-2 S Bama(L), Cincy(W), WKU(L)
UK 1-2 UCSB(L), SDSU(W), Bryant(L) in SD.

Outside of UGA & UK. Most looked pretty good. UF, Ark, & OM with the most impressive weekends. LSU & Auburn won their series, but you know both probably expected to sweep that level of competition.

We are very young. Who knows what we expect. Our pitching staff is good to great and our bats the same way. Who knows with us. We can beat anybody at any given time but lose the same way

Well Sac State is a decent ball club but Auburn should have definitely sweeped Southern. Losing to Southern is embarrassing

LSU probably stil a bit overrated at this point. It'll take some time for all the pieces to fall into place. We'll continue to be a frustrating team to watch. What was unexpected is our bullpen has been shaky for a group of veterans. Mixed bag of results so far. You can see the potential. Just a matter of how long it takes to see consistency. If we can at least sweep Fordham and take 2/3 from ball state. We'll be alright. Take 2/3 from Bama and salvage a game in college station and by then things should be rounding into form.

I am not overly familiar with them. Maybe they're better than I thought. They were picked 2nd behind Grand Canyon in the WAC this year.

California teams are tough. Bryant, though? Had never heard of them.

im not saying they are great by any means, but losing the series to them isn't the end of the world. LSU has a lot of growing up to do because we are so young. I wouldnt say we are the fifth best team in the country right now, although we are atleast the fifth most talented. Just need a little seasoning.

Arkansas will shoot up the rankings. Ole Miss will enter all rankings. LSU will likely fall quite a bit going 2-2 this week against Lamar and Sac State. Everyone else will probably stay around the same.

these results are a lot better than they will be when we start SEC play. I forecast 7-7 every damn game.

Ole Miss has been underrated because no one knew what our pitching staff would look like. The ceiling looks high after this weekend, but there's still a lot of youth and inexperience there. We'll see how they handle of the conference grind.

1. It was on the road
2. Pepperdine is a regular in postseason play.

So no I think it would be a little arrogant to expect a sweep.

You don't know how baseball rankings go do you? They will fall but 1 or 2 spots in each poll. This early in the season the poll guys still go off of projection more than results until SEC play starts.

So, #4 aTm doesn't sweep a fringe post-season team, who was projected #2 in the WCC, and all is well. However, #7 LSU doesn't sweep a fringe post-season team, who was projected #2 in the WAC, and should be disappointed?

Right.
