It's close. It's either State or Kentucky just because those parts of the country are so economically depressed.

Honorable mention to Bama- they probably have a greater percentage of low income fans because of their national brand has brought a lot of people on their bandwagon.

The rest of us are all pretty equal in income, I would imagine. Florida is a rich school, as are their students, but the fanbase is different. North Florida is rural and redneck as hell and it's solid Gator country.

A&M and Vanderbilt are likely the richest.

Yeah, Eastern KY has 4 or 5 of the poorest counties in the entire nation. That's true.

However, by state, Mississippi IS the poorest state in the union presently. Meaning Kentucky is not.

Ergo, Mississippi State gets the nod for poorest.


And Louisiana is #2 to boot, so before you even get to us you'd still have to nominate LSU. So.....yeah.....good luck with all that poverty brah.

I mean, again, these things are literally measured by the US Census Bureau. Mississippi is #1. Louisiana is #2. I'm not sure what you guys want here. Eastern KY comprises a small part of this state. Lexington and Louisville both are infinitely more affluent than anything Mississippi has to offer in any part of your state.
