I'm an Alabama fan and I'll nominate the Alabama fanbase as the smartest (about the game itself, not IQ), the fattest, the most confident, and a solid argument for least likable because we're exactly like Kentucky basketball fans as a fanbase...we act like our s### doesn't stink

Yeah, sure. That mostly exists in your imagination, as it doesn't show up in any meaningful metric. Your Greek houses aren't even very big. Y'all sure do a good job of hiding all that "old money".
Literally every SEC school has "old money" that loves the school. Almost all of those schools have much larger endowments than Ole Miss.
What's different about Ole Miss is that it is Delta-adjacent, and so it has that typical desperation around "racial/class consciousness" that is endemic to that part of the country. Nothing else.

They’re Mississippi rich. Only rich in that state not relevant to the rest of the country. Texas A&M has stupid money. Georgia would be the second closest IMO. A&M’s alumni network is ridiculous. They have a massive presence in Houston as well as the other TX cities. UGA has a major presence in ATL as well as the rest of the southeast.

This is silly and false. It tells me you only know of rural MS. It's true that Louisville would be the largest city in Mississippi, but it would also be the largest city in Alabama, and largest city in Louisiana with a metro comparable to New Orleans. But what's so affluent about Louisville? It's a cargo hub, and on a river like Memphis. Lexington is pretty, but more affluent than metro Jackson, that's a bunch of bs.
