I don't have anything against Mizzou. They're kind of bland and boring but I don't have anything against them.

Good point.

They are milquetoast.

Unless you are a Kansas fan, few people get worked up over Mizzou.

I'm only speaking for myself, but the vast majority of not all Texas alums/fans I know don't really care about conference acceptance. In my mind acceptance is earned, and more hate simply means you're probably doing something right to the detriment of other teams in the conference. So in that sense, bring it on!

I'd say Vandy gets very little hate in the SEC, right? Sure they get made fun of from time to time (like aggy lol) but nobody truly hates the teams that are perennial whipping boys for everyone else.

Everyone hates Aggie and they're a whipping boy.

I'd take any school over A&M's homosexual cult rituals

Mizzou, Texas, and OU are way f*cking cooler.

UT, A&M, OU, and Missouri don't belong in the Southeastern Conference.

To me Mizzou becoming a top 2-3 team in the SEC is so much sweeter knowing how upset people are about it. We’re dropping our nuts on your head.

I'd much rather it be yall than A&M. I have a lot of coworkers from Kansas City that are big Mizzou fans.

It might take a while for acceptance. Probably about the same time ya'll buck up and admit that smoked brisket is king and made by cowboys, while pork bbq was brought in by Spaniards. Pretty dang good eatin' but second fiddle to brisket.

I think Texas has the dumbest boosters in the country. I say that as a Horn Fan. Either they never did believe in paying players (when everyone else was), or they were too arrogant to pay (you should want to come here just because we're Texas, the Joneses syndrome). If you want an explanation why they have been soft, that is it. No other reason I can think of for some of their shittier teams through the years. I mean they went a full decade in the Big 12 recruiting Texas Tech/ Kansas level players...Maybe they really were scared of the NCAA and giving the state government any reason to take away any portion of there Billion dollar endowment. That is what I have always heard..

Not anymore though. NIL is going to change a lot at Texas in terms of Football. That's my prediction..

Gladly having them be part of the sec day 1.

Ags are good for the sec too. They are passionate and dedicated fans. A little strange but that’s ok.

SEC Fan Acceptance of Texas and Oklahoma

This is overrated.

Regardless of 'fan acceptance', Missouri and aTm, Arkansas and South Carolina, and now Texas and Oklahoma ARE SEC.

What various fans think about 'accepting' them is beyond irrelevant, imo.

What's crazy are Texas fans acting like they have been a power this whole time. They have been average to shitty for over a decade.

They have consistently been top 10 recruiting classes, and really top 5...it is the TX ego and culture- they think they are good

Proudly.

Neither is Dallas or Houston or San Antonio.

You know. The habitable parts.

This board is going to lose its mind next year when it is Texas playing Oklahoma for the sec championship.
